Free Way To Get One Way Links

Even though not the best way, it’s great almost fun and easy to do. The idea is to create profile pages in various websites, any website.

However for backlinks to have any real value, you must check to see if the profile page you’ll create is blocked or not via robots file and if it’s using nofollow tags on the links.

If it’s blocked it’s useless. So before creating a profile, first click on a member profile, I’m sure the site you find has already plenty of members. Then make sure that page, which is a profile page is not being blocked by robots.

You can use Google Webmaster Tools to check robots file, following their pretty easy instructions, if you’re new to robots. Then a plugin that highlights nofollow links exist as well. Or else right click on the link in profile page and click properties, it will have rel nofollow writting if it’s with nofollow. But it’s better to use a plugin since you want specifically to check not any link on profile page, but YOUR link, the website url. Not all links may have the nofollow tag.

So this method the only thing is checking if page is blocked by robots or with nofollow tag. Finding websites that allow you to create profiles is the easiest thing. Even forums if you join some, fill profile especially the location where you can input a website url.

Social sites like myspace and you can input the url in Google and click on Similar sites link. That will present you with a list of related sites to myspace.

Story websites as well and to find a lot of them repeat same technique. In other words websites which have a Join button or Signup for an account and so on. A good idea is to input not just the website url in the profile but also add more info as much as they allow. So there’s also some content if possible.

Not all websites are the same, some will allow other options, for example some ask you for your rss feed which is a great thing. Others allow you to insert links to your blogs as well as your website. Others allow you to create a blog something myspace does but they do not allow direct linking to your website. Myspace is therefore useless.

The idea here is to get backlinks from these websites, these are one way links you’re going to get so they are very powerful. But you need to be a bit careful so you don’t waste your time getting useless links.

Free Link Building Technique For Bloggers

This technique is used by some top bloggers with good results… actually the more traffic you have the more it will work.

Basically this works by creating a new blog post and linking to other blogs on this post. So you link to them FIRST and then go to their blog and tell them you linked to them. Ask them to check it out and link back to you. Tell them too that this technique is viral and they can get lots of backlinks if they link back.

Do link only to related blogs. This technique is sometimes also known as a Blog Virus For Bloggers. It goes more viral than that though. You also add your blog in the list. Then in blog post tell people to copy the links and create a new blog post and put all links there.

Then they do the same as you did, commenting on the blogs and telling people they have linked to them. So if you can pretty well see, you are getting links from bloggers that you’ve placed their link on your website. Plus you get links from your visitors who sort of participate and put the links on their website… and do like you did.

It gets viral the more your visitors participate and copy all your links and put them on their blog. You can be creative a bit, maybe offer some bonus for those who participate… or anything that will get them to take action.

Remember, after 1-2 months than go back and check which bloggers linked back and which did not. You can safely remove bloggers who did not link back to you. Those are not interested. Most often those bloggers who link back to you will also comment on the post to let you know.

If you want to make it easy for your visitors to participate then make it easy for them to copy the links. Usually they have to do it manually, but you can tell your webmaster to simple create some box with the required html. They just copy and paste the html code in the blog and they’re done.

For your visitors also tell them they have to create a blog post the same way you did, so they too go viral, they too will get visitors putting the links on their blogs. Plus they too have to tell the bloggers they linked back. Exactly same thing you did.

So there’s a way to get free backlinks for your blog, which can be fun too. I suggest you leave it there for 1-2 months, then just remove the blogs who did not link back.

High page rank one way links for you!

These are not common methods to get one way links like article submission. Special sites are sites that either have a high page rank or not commonly known and I called them special.

I bookmarked these sites, and anytime I have a new site I submit to them all, and get plenty of one way links from sites that have authority or high pagerank. (also helps index website)

I am going to mention the special sites:

NOTE: Some sites block certain pages from getting indexed. I checked each one to make sure the page I get a link from is not blocked. However they can block it using .htaccess file which I cannot check manually of course.

PixelGroovy – This site allows you to submit tutorials related to computers. (Ex: How to tweak windows xp) You place a link to the page where you wrote the tutorial. If you wrote it on a blog you get one way link to that page.

http://pixelgroovy.com/

Digg – Probably you already read about it. On digg you can submit stories. You submit the link where you have your story or article. That is great to get one way links.

http://digg.com/

Slashdot – Same like Digg.

Create a page on http://www.freelink.org/ and then get it indexed by linking to it from an already indexed page. An example of a page: http://www.freelink.org/smithkarl

W8.net – This is a search engine that will list your sites instantly after you use their add url form.

Add URL

Craiglist This is a classified website, but has lots of high PR pages. Post your services for free if it fits in a category and place your link.

You probably already heard about craiglist before. (ad will expire so this is mainly good to get indexed fast)
www.craigslist.org

Msn, Orkut, groups- I just create a group or get a couple links and then edit my profile and put links on my profile. Then put a link to my profiles from my other sites so the profiles gets indexed.

groups.msn.com
orkut.com

Google and msn groups use nofollow tags so links won’t have any value.

Squidoo.com PR7

You can create your own page that may contain one way links to your site. On the page you can also add rss feeds, content and much more.

Then index the page same like with the About Me Page.

Zaadz.com PR6

One way links from this website by creating your profile. Your profile will have many pages and you can add links on the blog page. So then index that page. Adding content not just links gives the links is always best to improve quality of the one way links.

Blogmyway.org PR4

This website allows you to create blogs. You get one way links by creating your blog, adding some content and links with anchor text. There are many more sites like this mainly blogger.com, wordpress.org, typekey.com. You can also create your profile which will also include a link to your site.

Then index your blog and profile.

Ryze.com PR7

Create your profile and you may include content as well and links to your site. One way links!

Then index your profile page.

Mybloglog.com PR7
This is another social websites, you can add your link in the profile and even content. Then index the page.

Typekey.com PR5

If you have a free account, you can add links in your profile, with your chosen anchor text. Then index your profile page. This is like blogger.com or wordpress.org. Not suggesting you create a blog but editing your profile.

I chose these websites because they all have high page rank and and are very popular with the search engines. A link from these sites, is very powerful.

NOTE: Some sites may change their policy and include the nofollow tags on links. I have no control on that thing…
