How To Be More Effecient - Using Shortcuts...

Hi,

This post will reveal how to be more efficient by using keyboard shortcuts, buttons and windows other shortcuts. This is what I personally use and how I configured my computer so I can be more efficient (and more fun since it's less annoying).

This not only helps me when I'm doing SEO but in everything else I do in an Internet Business. I mean it's a business using a computer - maybe it's worth your time knowing how to actually use the computer more efficiently to save time.

List of keyboard shortcuts I use (Test them out to see which ones you might find useful):

Windows logo key ==> Open or close the Start menu
Windows logo key + D ==> Display the desktop
Windows logo key + M ==> Minimize all windows
Windows logo key + R ==> Open the Run dialog box
Windows logo key + a number ==> If you have programs on quick launch if for example you press 1 along with windows logo key the first shortcut in quick launch opens - if you press 2 the second one, etc.

Keyboard buttons

Your keyboard may be different so you may have different buttons but I have buttons that when I press them I can open calculator, windows mail, web browser, windows media player, play pause or stop a video and a lot more.

So click these buttons on your keyboard to explore and see if anything is good. For example I never go to C: Program files, or waste 20 seconds to open calculator. Just press one button.

Computer Shortucts

This one depends on which version of windows you have, if you have mac it's completely different. But this is what I do that you can replicate maybe:

==> Use quick launch so with a click you can open the most frequently used programs. Note: Use different icons as well. So if you place two folders on quick launch they will both have the same icon and it's not that easy to tell which one is which. Right click on one folder, Select Properties, click on Change Icon.

==> Windows messenger or antiviruses by default open up when you turn on your computer. However you can open up almost any other program as well. Don't open all programs because that can make your computer start slow then.

==> On desktop I usually put text files with notes.

==> Vista users you can find tons of different gadgets from the Internet to put on the sidebar. The one I use is called QuickLaunch - which just like the Windows Quicklaunch it allows me to open up folders, programs, etc with a click.

I think these tips should be helpful to save you some time. It's also less frustration to open ftp software - you can do it with a click - no need to make a research on your computer for it.

Thanks

Lazy Cash Formula Review

Update: Not recommend, Google Adwords disabled my account. See bottom of post for reason.

I tried this product like two months ago and I wish to review it - it's rare that I try such products but this one says: Just copy & paste.

So it was the easiest one to actually test.

I watched all 12 videos and basically all it says in step by step detail is to open a new Google Adwords account (you can even search in Google for promotional codes to get some free clicks) and then in your members account of Lazy Cash Formula copy & paste the first campaign.

First campaign and all other campaigns, some 12 of them contain your affiliate link for an affiliate product, handful of ads and keywords. There are a handful of adgroups which basically contain ads and keywords.

It's anyway super easy no need to have a clue about Adwords to do the thing.

The results is what I was interested in next, because the setup procedure was done quite easy.

The campaign I tested was an affiliate product in the money making niche - it's actually the Lazy Cash Formula. Later one I added another campaign in Adwords in a different niche, something in the health niche but a product that is not highly competitive at all.

So the campaign I added made me a sale after 178 clicks, after 10 days which costed $63.21 and earned $42.13. These are the exact numbers because I recorded them. So still not in profit.

Then some "problems" started to occur.

Basically the keywords in this campaign started to be marked as Low Quality Score - and the campaign started to generate few impressions, few clicks, always fewer and fewer until it's almost like it's paused.

After 20 days campaign just got 207 clicks only. I mean is this Google Adwords which they say instant traffic? Lazy Cash Formula say ads and keywords are optimized to convert still that little clicks and impressions.

So I added a new campaign after a total of 20 days with that campaign getting too little impressions and traffic.

This one not in the making money online niche.

This one got a bit more clicks, 566 in close to a month, I still believe that's not a lot in an entire month. I spent $245.19 in Adwords and earned $65.52. Not in profit neither for second campaign.

So basically within close to two months I was not in profit, few clicks, few impressions, just 3 sales for two different campaigns.

I could have let both campaigns running for longer.

However the reason I then stop is because even this second campaign started to generate few clicks, and keywords showing the message: Landing page poor quality score.

Promoting affiliate products in the money making niche is something Google does not really like - that's why then I tried a new campaign.

However this second one too started to get too little traffic and keywords almost all displaying "low quality score rarely seen" message.

The other thing I would say is that, another test would not be bad also because I spent little - so leaving it to run for longer or testing maybe another campaign (they add some two new each month) would not be a problem.

But thing is two months, no profit, no hundreds daily earned, and my ads rarely seen on Google - too few traffic at that rate I make hundreds daily in a century.

That's my honest review. Someone else might experience something different who knows. For me I will not look at this again until long... it's true that it requires few maintenance because you just check your Google Adwords account daily and do some very little tweaks to it. However in close to two months I expected more, after reading all those promises in salesletter.

Update: Google just disabled my account and also told me I cannot open another Google Adwords account neither in the future. This is serious now, they said my landing page and sites I was advertising seriously went against their Terms of Service. This time Dan Lok who recommended me this program has upseted me a bit, since usually he says he reviews programs that he promotes.

I think this is just another REASON why these 1 page salesletter promising income in thousands or more are just bull shit 99% of them like I always thought.

P.S. Remember the saying online about these programs... "Too good to be true means probably it is"

It's the same thing when it appears Too Lazy

How can you make money if you don't do anything real, anything that helps others - if all you do is something too laazzyy??

Thanks

What's In Next Upgrade Of OutRankSmart Software!

Hello,

Soon within weeks the upgrade will be ready. This time there will be more one way link building methods added.

These include:

Directory submission to hundreds of directories number should be around 2518... plus a feature to submit to niche directories - so someone with a travel related website can submit to the general directories plus those niche directories in travel category. (These are directories which lists just travel related websites). There should be around 1968.

Rss submission to rss directories.

Blog directory submission. This is submitting your blog to blog directories.

Another method that I don't want to reveal what's it... this is the second method the software will have that's very little known. This is to get one way links to your blog and blog posts too. Links from unique content websites, of course all SEO friendly links. Links within content too.

The same handy features as software has right now will be added too of course like autofills forms, fast loading of sites (ten at a time in a tabbed browser within software itself), data about directories like pagerank and lots of other features.

This will save you a lot of money because instead of buying a software for directory submission, one for rss submission, script for link exchanges, etc you just get ONE software that does them all.

These are all quality links, it's not that I was desperate to add these features, I tried also my best to make them as well as possible for the best results for users.

Thanks

How To Systemize Your SEO

So your new website first thing is start getting backlinks... and 5% of the time left do some onpage optimization on it, like meta tags and alt tags. But the 95% of your time start link building.

There's something with age of the links in Google algorithms. Which basically mean when you get a backlink the older it gets, means the more time passes the better it's value. So in essence the older your website gets the better your backlinks become. Google will give them more value, you get more rewarded so to speak for those backlinks.

Doing link building from the start is how you get indexed rapidly. Most think of indexing a website as a stage in the process. I think it's not. Just get the best links as fast as you can, that's an advantage over others that do not. The best links are submission to the top paid directories, you want to do it fast because of the linking age I've mentioned.

In no time if you start on link building your website gets indexed and starts to rank. Obviously you should know keywords you're targeted first and foremost, keyword research comes always first.

But then you keep the rythm of 95% of your time on link building and 5% on onpage optimization like adding content. That's how you get the ranks. It's not checking if you got indexed everyday, checking ranks everyday, checking pagerank none of that stuff means squat.

What you really need is this system of link building and taking action on it, applying it. Now there are many ways to get links, but the idea here is the system you need to have in mind to get things moving on. Or you will get stuck in useless and meaningless things like why you did not get indexed yet. That's time wasted.

Most often if you're worrying about that, you either did not really learn seo well or you don't know or have a system to follow to get ranks. Once you know the system, you can create a brand new website and boom you instantly know step by step what to do.

In fact it's so powerful knowing the system that you can do no seo, outsourcing completely everything. Just tell employees what to do and how to do it. That's it. This constant worrying on seo why your pagerank is 3 not 4 and so forth should be banned if you want to progress forward rapidly.

Think And Plan For SEO Success

There are many seo techniques you should apply, many different strategies to adopt for keyword research most of all. But your goal once you know how to do and how to do it, is to focus on link building.

That's not news, but still you need to master a bit seo, gain the knowledge first otherwise even link building alone is not going to help you, if you do it wrong.

So you have to do things right but do the right things. Purchase a book or something to learn, you won't really learn from forums, you just get a tip here and there. Truth be told even on forums specialized about seo you won't find everything right, you may find false information and theories. SEO masters are not on forums, they're enjoying the high quality traffic.

As long as you're not in a paid forum or membership site, that's another story, but free forums, even if they are the most popular. They're still abundant with newbies. So that's not the right place to learn.

Forums are more for discussions than for learning. One other mistake is thinking that to get high rankings you just need to buy a software - or get indexed - or add related content. Means, you just believe in a blue moon.

That's not the right approach, probably whatever it is you're trying to do, like playing golf. You think you can beat the professionals without a coach? Think again.

Planning is very important and using mind maps to plan. What you want from your website? Why you wish to do seo? If you want to do seo for traffic that's not a good reason at all. You need to know also what you're going to do with the traffic, which are real humans remember. A plan of getting traffic, converting and using it to get results, your bottom line making money.

So jump from trying to make money by playing the lottery, to serious thinking, planning and knowing what you're going to achieve. Not just shooting without aiming, you'll get more results and faster while avoiding silly mistakes. Planning itself, while you're doing it, especially with mind maps you can pin point what it is you can do better, or you can avoid...

So take search engine optimization as one point on the map that you have to follow to get results. This is simple stuff, it can tell you why optimizing for the keyword food is wrong! Why optimizing for the keyword cars is wrong! Why starting seo later not now is wrong! And other simple things like these that can make big differences.

Keyword Research Advanced But Simple

Your goal should be to get ranks in Google, because ultimately you're going to get same ranks or better in MSN and probably even Yahoo.

So you want to use Google to check for competitors number. To do this visit Google International homepage, not your Google country domain because most of your visitors are going to come from Google main site not using your country domain. Assuming you're not targeting only visitors from your country. But that's rarely the case.

So competition number may vary in different country domain search engine. And you should also use an updated keyword research tool, that's very important. Take keyword research very seriously, because it's your destiny, either you're going to rank for keyword that convert traffic into your desired action - either you're going to get keyword that get decent amount of traffic or not.

Sometimes focusing on just one to three keywords is not enough, since remember you're not going to get all the traffic the keyword research tools tells you. Since it's not just the number one ranked website that gets traffic. All sites including the pay per click listing get some of that traffic.

Opting for paid keyword tools will help you find keyword with low competition and high traffic volume. Most free tools either display just a hundred keywords or worse they display inaccurate search volume data.

Google's own keyword research tool is one of the best free keyword research tools. One good idea is to use a paid tool that is specifically designed to find you different types of keywords, keyword variations and so on. To really find keywords that your competitors are not using, and then checking the traffic stats using the Google tool.

One of the popular keyword tools out there is like a dictionary and thesaurus of keywords, you can extract so big of a list that you'll be sure to find keywords that have very little competition and high traffic. Those are gems.

But for traffic volume I won't even rely on the paid tool, Google's tool is the one I rely on, it comes directly from Google. For competition number you'll have to find that out manually. Google's tool also displays synonyms for keywords, but it's also limited next to some of the most popular paid tools.

So to recap, check competition using Google International domain, using Google tool to find the actual and accurate keyword traffic stats and use a paid tool to find keywords that have low competition.

How To Write And Submit Articles

If you are doing article submission using same articles you've posted on your website here's what I found out to work best.

First of all you can write articles and put them on your website. Then do not submit them to directories the same day. Submit the next day. Plus if you put them on a blog ping the blog. Here's a little known secret, ping also the page your article is on. You can ping pages, not just a blog. A blog consists of pages as well. Pinging tells spiders to come visit the page because there's something new on it.

You want spiders to see the article on your website first, not on article directories first. So it's sort of becomes your property.

If you post it in article directories same day, spiders see the same article on several sites - they simple choose who they think the real owner of article is, and that page will get the most benefit.

So you want to be known as the real owner, so wait a day and ping blog if you placed it on a blog. If not a blog make sure you still wait a day before submission and make also sure your site structuring is well. So it should be easy to navigate from homepage to the page your article is on.

Not saying link to page from homepage, but if it's an article create a folder called articles and link to it from homepage or some prominent page and put on that page links to your articles. Make it easy, and to get this right put yourself in the shoes of your visitor. How does it feel navigating your website. If it's feels good spiders will find it good too 99 percent of the time, if it's bad means confusing for example than spiders too will get a bit confused.

So this is how to make sure your blog posts or articles pages get indexed and sometimes very fast. Avoid allowing spiders to see your article as a copy, let them see your article first. This will eliminate the chance of your page taking longer to get indexed. I also always link back from bio of articles to the site I've have my article on. So the article directories give credit to my website, the site where the original article is on. That spiders see my article is the original copy and the article directories as sites recommending my article.

If article directories do not link back to your website, they are not giving credit to the original article. Sometimes it hurts them for duplicate content, because it's stealing content without giving credit to the appropriate site.

How To Tell Google To Displays Sitelinks

Sitelinks is still a new feature, and Google displays these extra links in search results. Normally it displays a title linking to your website url, description and your website url in green words.

But sitelinks are additional links not just the normal things it displays. It's like a menu for searchers to easily navigate the website. Sitelinks in fact were invented so searchers can go directly go some of the site pages from the search results.

Directly to the blog for example without having to visit the site first. You can allow Google to put sitelinks, this short menu as well for your website. They display it for particular keywords, so not for all keywords that your site appears. For example searching for dog food may show your website plus sitelinks menu, while searching for cheap dog food may not show sitelinks at all.

Generally speaking, most often it's the site ranked number that has the sitelinks. That opinion is from observation only.

Things worth knowing:

If you get a Google Webmaster Account, you can tell Google if it's currently showing sitelinks for your website any urls that you wish not to display in the sitelinks menu. Just by clicking Block next to the url. Note that doing so, that link will not be displayed for a period of time, then you will have to block it again. Period probably is somewhere in the range of six months.

Google does not display sitelinks manually to some big websites. Any website, big or small can display sitelinks in search results. It's done automated not manually.

So here's some tips to have a better chance of getting sitelinks menu. A common menu for all your website pages is a great positive thing to do. On all your website pages, have the same constant menu. The links in that menu deemed important will have a big chance to be displayed in sitelinks menu.

You just think about a menu that your visitors will find useful, and display it on all your website pages. Those links make sure are the links you also want to be displayed in sitelinks. So if you want to display contact us page in the menu of your website, it's useless for sitelinks menu so put the nofollow tag on it.

Create a common menu for all your website pages and use the nofollow tag on links that are useless to be displayed in sitelinks. For example, it's useless to get Privacy Policy displaying in search results. Who cares? A features page, blog, articles page and so on are good pages to list in sitelinks menu.

If you can display the same menu twice on each page. That's double powerful, one on top and one on bottom works the best. But again do not sacrifice your conversion rate just to display sitelinks in search results.

So this article have showed you what are sitelinks, how to have a big chance to allow Google to display sitelinks for your website plus how to block some urls from appearing in sitelinks menu.

Top 10 Dumbest SEO Mistakes

These are the dumbest mistakes and I've did some of them myself. These are not in any particular order or something.

1) Optimizing your website for a word related to your website, like Dog if you sell dog food, or business if you sell something related to business.

2) Getting backlinks, doing onpage optimization and then doing keyword research, instead starting with keyword research.

3) Linking to linkspages from your homepage instead of linking to a link directory. So like page one, page two, page three and so on. When you realize your visitors don't like it and you have to restructure your website, there's a big chance you loose all link partners.

4) Thinking Google is bad, or they don't like you and so you try to submit your website to search engines using a software or service to get your website indexed. It does not work so you hire someone to get it indexed... and then continue "seo", one big mistake. Discover the problem not try to find a quick fix.

5) Trying to get a high pagerank instead of trying to master seo. Master seo, get the right knowledge and then you get high rankings not just high pagerank. Makes more sense!

6) Blocking links directory with robots file, nofollow tag or some other way. Link partners won't link to you if they find out - some free plugins make it easy to find out. If you loose all link partners at once because the word get spreads out about your wrong doing your rankings might get a bad hit.

7) Trying to rank for a keyword which has a billion competition number. OR when you know there's ebay, Google, CNN, MSN, etc in the number one position.

8) Relying on cpanel of your webhost for traffic stats like Awstats. Those stats are not accurate at all. Get a Google Analytics account for real traffic data.

9) Using outdated keyword research tools that provides very inaccurate data. Stay up to date, some tools get outdated, no longer are accurate. Google's own tool is currently the best.

10) Using black hat is like playing the lottery. Little chance to win (get results) and big chance of loosing (getting banned or no results).

So there you have it, according to me those are the dumbest mistakes. These are not a silly mistake like forgetting to do meta tags on your homepage. These can make or break a rank. These are costly mistakes, you can waste a ton of money and spend a ton of time for nothing.

Most of the mistakes have to do with you and your results. Your bottom line should also be getting results, that's what you should be thinking of, so whenever you make any decision or change think of results it will achieve.

Metrics, knowing the results you're going to get is very important. Do not jump from a building blindfold. The dumbest mistakes are also the most costly mistakes.

Google Knocks Article Directories

Every time someone from Google speaks, something sort of new spreads around, and real webmasters start to worry. They've just written an article like a day ago and now they read Google knocks article directories.

The same people that think Article Directories are no longer effective, which I am translating the phrase Google knocks article directories, are probably same ones who taught submitting same article to thousand article directories is useless. When there was the duplicate content theory.

So they just hear something, without experience or testing anything simple say what they wish to say. It's not correct thing.

I've been doing same article submission techniques with minor changes only for 4 years. People accused me of doing it wrong when there was the duplicate content theory, but they simple did not know what this theory is.

You see, I still kept my rankings and increased, because when you submit the same article to thousand directories that's not duplicate content.

I link to my website from each article, so these directories that are using same content from somewhere else are giving credit to me. They are not stealing articles, or copying them. In the eyes of spiders, they are simple recommending my article to their visitors, so the link in the bio makes all the difference.

So if you think submitting to article directories is not effective, that's an advantage for seo's who "get it". Why? The less people who submit to article directories the better for us... our articles get approved faster, less articles to approve or reject. Your competitors will love you, because they are using a great method to get loads of one way links, while you are probably looking for the next best thing.

They outrank you easier. Article marketing has been the number one way to get one way links for years. The other important thing to mention is that Google did not say they are not effective, what they did say is that some article directories have no unique content. Means they simple have articles that are on other article directories. No unique content.

However, people translates that as Google knocks out article directories. So if you are a new seo, search engine optimizer, than make sure you don't visit forums with no real seo experts. After all seo experts don't give their best tips in forums, most of them make a ton of money from search engine traffic, and know that on forums most of the time you don't find accurate information. It's great to get tips, but more like a freebie way to learn.

Truth About Search Engine Submission

Most companies who know nothing about seo, sell a service or a software that guarantees thousands of visitors. What they guarantee as well is that your website will get listed in a hundred thousand search engine instantly.

Well, all that is a scam. First of all, submitting to search engines is a waste of time, simple because it's not the right way to get indexed.

You see, years ago search engines where receiving millions of requests from webmasters. Everyone asking them to index their website. What did they do? They simple placed a submission form on their website... so no one emails them again, they just fill the form right?

But do you think search engines actually manually review all the submissions and get the sites indexed? No way. In fact it's just a way to shut down on the requests webmasters used to make.

Indexing of websites is done automated. You can submit your website using the submission form and wait and see that you won't get indexed. The way to get indexed is by getting backlinks... regularly and especially one way links to get indexed. Then stick with link exchanges and one way links as well. Both required unlike what some folks say.

By getting backlinks, spiders find your website, and see that many websites link to it, that means it is very useful. People like it, they link to it, so they index it, since it's a good site to have in the index.

That's what they think... what they are programmed for. So avoid these services that submit your website to thousands of search engines, not even to one search engine. All waste of time.

Some sort of automated way I recommend to help get your website and even your inner pages indexed, is by submitting a xml sitemap to Google webmaster tools and a url text file to Yahoo. There are free tools that create these for you.

Don't be the next scam victim. Their business is around a dream. A dream of getting tons of traffic from thousands of search engines, plus getting your website indexed in a snap. A business around a dream is a business that makes money.

Money buys traffic, and most of these companies you can find them in the Pay Per Click section of Google. Millions of users everyday get online, so they have plenty of customers of course, even though no repeated customers.

So two important points here, you must know the right knowledge in seo, probably like anything else, since the Internet is filled with scams and people who just want the money.

How To Stop Others From Stealing Your Articles

Time and time again I've seen it happening. You submit your articles in article directories and some webmasters grab them and put them on their website. Without giving you credit, without linking back.

Personally I've seen it also happening on my own articles too. So what's the solution if any and what you should know?

First of all who does this "stealing" is non other that newbies. They think their site requires content in most cases and a newbie is like a child. He does not know right from wrong sometimes. I personally used to steal content when I was a newbie as well, without linking back. At the time I did not know why I should link back anyway.

Now I know, and get this, it's them that get negatively effected not you. When they put identical content from somewhere else, in this case your article, the page they put your article on will have a hard time getting indexed most often, because of duplicate content. The page won't get indexed in almost all cases.

Actually if they link back to the source, probably that's going to be better for their rankings.

Put a CopyRight All Rights Reserved. That should get rid of some of them. Don't waste the precious space in the bio, put it just after your article body... neither waste your time trying to find the webmasters who use your articles without linking back and try to contact them one by one.

There's really no other solution here... but I don't see it as a problem anymore, because I know who the thieves are, they do not really wish harm... and the duplicate content works against them.

It's good to mention too that these newbies where they put the articles, the same website will probably be "dead" after some months or a year. The site is probably their first one, nothing of real value, and probably not going to make them any money.

That's why newbies are the ones that steal the content. Webmasters who are not new, know about the duplicate content, they also know how much quality and uniqueness is important. They know they cannot feed the visitor identical articles he finds elsewhere.

So time is precious, your energy too, get rid of this problem, don't let it haunt you. Think of the bigger picture and you realize after all they are not harming you - it's just annoying as hell. Don't say you won't get credit. It's true you won't but then again like I said, we should be optimistic and feel good about those that link back.

Deadly Google Mistakes For SEOs

Although I am exaggerating a bit, there are mistakes that can get your website banned, or penalties.

Most common things webmaster do may be all well for your visitors, with good intentions but remember spiders are computers. They are not perfect though.
Some of these things that spiders are programmed to detect and put a penalty to the website include the following list.

Keyword stuffing in meta tags, on content, in anchor text of internal links or backlinks, the use of redirects, hidden text, a hacked website, duplicate content, link exchange with banned site, use of subdomains with same content as homepage or a website with viruses. There may be more...

Remember these will cause a penalty, these are not things you do that won't help your rankings - but they will actually decrease your rankings.

There is a difference between a penalty, or something you are not doing quite good that may results in a difficulty in getting indexed for example.

To fix a penalty which most often is decrease in rankings, just find out what's wrong and stop doing it or fix it. A penalty on your site will then after some time be removed.

If on the other hand you cannot get your site indexed, that's not a penalty, that's something you are not doing right. Maybe it's brand new and it has only couple backlinks. Just learn more seo, to find out why and how to fix it.

In extreme cases a penalty can result in totally removal of your website from the index. In the case like for example your site is hacked, or has viruses or adware. You have to fix once again your site, Google even warns you of such events if you have a Google Webmasters Tools account, and makes sure that once you fix your site is back in the index very quickly.

If you don't fix, if you don't know what to fix then you remain out of the index, of course. It's bad for the searcher to find a website that's hacked. That's why obviously your site is removed.

As an seo you need to remain up to date on what's going on in the seo world. Grab the wisdom and knowledge, so you know what's right to do and what's wrong to avoid.

Search engine algorithms may seem to be changing often, but truth be told nothing really changes. Only slight changes, like for example, if before keyword density was important, now it's more good idea to have good quality content.

So content is still very important, what can change may be that search engines will prefer a site completely with alt tags, rather than one without. And things like that. Your goal is to give search engines what they want.

Personalized Search Google New Features

Google released new features for personalized search. So first you need to have a Google account, which is free and then login.

When going to Google.com you can customize the search results. You can move sites up or delete them - put notes next to sites or suggest sites to the results.

Truly personalized search results for research purposes is a great feature.

Say you are researching websites to buy food for dogs. So you login to your Google account and go to Google search engine.

Type in dog food or some similar keyword and start checking in the websites. You find one that sucks, because they do not take paypal payments. So you can delete it from the search engine results.

You find one that has the brand of dog food you want, but it's out of stock. So you put a note next to the website (by clicking a small icon in search results)... saying something like: good but out of stock!

Say your friend recommends to you a dog store where you can find and buy dog food. So you can add it to the search results (to check it in future)... you can also put a note next to it like: recommended by friend, check it out.

So that is just a simple example, but for big researches for school or something like that - it has very handy features other search engines don't yet have.

Yahoo and MSN will probably do something like this sooner or later.

Remember for time being this is only for personalized search, for those people who have a google account and have to login... for common users who just go to google.com they won't see anything of this sort.

There is no help for us optimizers - even though some black hatters try to find some loopholes - maybe mass creating accounts with Google and testing some trick - which sucks, and they will get penalized if they get caught. Sorry not penalized Google bans entire websites that cheat, spam or use black hat.

Sitelinks Google's Brand New Feature!

If your are building a website from scratch you can apply these simple onpage optimization techniques. I won't suggest you go and edit all your website pages - in fact it's NOT recommended because you end up with lots of 404 pages.

For new pages, etc you are going to create here are great techniques:

Google's new feature description is further below this amazing article.

*For files names use the - to seperate words. Put words that make sense, if a page is about dog food than use dog-food.html not abs.html or dogfood.html

It's more easier to read and understand it. Users will love it more. Google loves what users love. For files only not folders.

* Your website should be focused on a niche, relevant content should be visible first. If you have dog related articles you can put them all in one folder called Articles. Organize folders if you need to create folders.

One folder for articles, one for images, one for affiliates and so on.

* Make one common navigation menu with the most important pages of your website. Use that menu on all your website pages. Great for visitors to understand how your website is structured quickly and it helps them navigate easily - they won't get confused.

* If you have articles put them on an articles page. Say inside the articles folder. But if you have many articles create categories or subcategories. If you have 4 types of dog related articles like dog vitamins articles, dog health articles, dog food articles, dog accessories articles... and say 10 articles for each category - then create a page on your website and put the four categories on the page.

Dog vitamins articles
Dog health articles
Dog food articles
Dog accessories articles

Each one links to a page, which has the ten article titles. So for example Dog vitamins articles will link to a page called dog-vitamins.html

On that page you see ten article titles, each article title linking to one of the ten articles.

This is very organized, users can click a button to see articles related to a specific category.

Much much better than a list of article titles all on one page.

You can see an example of this on my SEO Articles page.

Easy navigation is the key to getting your website pages indexed as well. Proper navigation is required. Keep it in mind when creating pages.

Google have a feature called Sitelinks. If you have a proper navigation menu you can benefit from this feature.

Here's what it does:

When you type a keyword like dog food and your website is listed you will usually see your website title, description and url. Those basic things which are common for all websites listed in the search engine results.

However Sitelinks are an additional to that. Google can show links to your inner pages like features, articles, anything... as well not just the "common" info, title, description and url. Even a search box.

Popular sites which are big and have a common menu on all their website pages already show these links.

Sitelinks feature are completely automated. Google do not assign these links to specific websites manually. No! It's done automatically using their software that like the spider considers certain things to decide whether to display Sitelinks for a site or no.

A curious thing:

From your Google webmasters account you have an option called Sitelinks. If Google search engine is displaying these "extra links" for certain searches you can see in this option which are the links. Even block some links if you don't want them to appear.

Neat feature, this is once again to show that Google's aim is to provide the searchers with maximum value.

These sitelinks help users navigate quickly to specific pages of the site.

So take advantage of these simple onpage optimization techniques plus the newest sitelinks feature.

17 Search Engine Optimization Facts

Did You Know?

Fact #1: If your website has a penalty Google will probably inform you in your Google Webmaster Account. Why? So you fix it.

Fact #2: If your website is hacked, Google will even try to email you to let you know, but the site will be removed from the index until you fix it.

Fact #3: Your Yahoo rankings can get a quick and fast boost if you submit your website to the Yahoo Directory. Why? Yahoo prefers sites that are listed in their directory.

Fact #4: A Yahoo Directory listing, which is just ONE link pointing to your website is better than 50-100 links from those free directories... Even though the latter you should submit to as well.

Fact #5: Google has a world-class staff of more than 2,668 employees known as Googlers.

Fact #6: If you submit one article using Content Crooner, and link to a brand new website in the article bio, the new website will get indexed in less than a week guaranteed!

Fact #7: The links you get that have the nofollow tag are only useless in terms of seo for the search engine Google. The backlinks still count for other search engines though.

Fact #8: Optimizing your website before doing keyword research makes no sense, since keyword research is part of the optimization process.

Fact #9: Fact #1: FIRST you need to do keyword research. SECOND optimize your website around those keywords. Not vice-versa.

Fact #10: If you visit Google or Yahoo and search something, the competition number may be millions or billions, but the search engines only have 100 pages of results. That means they show only 1000 websites. The first 3 only get almost all the traffic.

Fact #11: It's better to put just your main keyword in your title tag and keep it short - search engines do NOT show the entire tag title in search results. Maximum 67 characters.

Fact #12: Inputting ALL the keywords that took you a lot of time and money (maybe) to research in the keywords tag is a mistake. Competitors can use software to extract that data to save them hours of research. They "copy" and make use of your research... Input main keywords only!

Fact #13: Submitting your website to hundreds or thousands of search engines won't bring you ANY visitors.

Fact #14: Using the search engine add url submission form won't get you indexed. To cut off the emails they were receiving search engines placed the submission form. Email such as: "Please index my website, it's about shoes". Indexing is completely automated.

Fact #15: Search engines do not rank websites, they rank web pages.

Fact #16: It's FALSE that having Google adsense or doing PPC Adwords will get you some boost in rankings - or some sort of preference in Google.

Fact #17: Using black hat strategies is like playing scratch and win. Who said that? The King in person, Karl Sultana.

Mr.X The Blackhat Spammer Story

While waiting for his buddy to email him the latest Adsense Clicker software, Mr.X is quietly - but determined - looking for that damn cloaking software.

Oh yes, meanwhile he just pushed the RED button and content is being generated on his ten, (what? only ten), thousand identical websites. They are identical sites. To be honest they have one thing different: the adsense blocks show different ads.

Anyway, Mr.X has just woke up and has a thousand content generated websites.

The email arrives with the Adsense Clicker software, but interesting enough while surfing for the cloaking software he found black-hat-widgets.com where he downloaded a bunch of scripts. One in particular is very exiting. Mr.X tries it out on his website... and is very surprised to notice that:

His meta tags contain a new tag called: Meta cake:
(He knows the word cake is another word for hack, it's written in the readme.txt).

Anyway the Meta cake allows him to add a ton of keywords inside the tag, just like you do in the meta keywords. But the script he uses tries to manipulate search engines into thinking they are part of the content of the site.

Pretty advanced script and cake, sorry hack.

Back to his Hackmail.com account (an email account which automatically sends spam you schedule on a particular date) he read the email from his buddy.

The Adsense Clicker software was pretty easy to install it, Mr.X is making some serious money this morning from:

1) Spam emails sent automatically from Hackmail.com
2) The thousands sites all with adsense ads and the Adsense Clicker software clicking on them.
3) The traffic from search engines thanks to the scripts he downloaded.

Do you think it will last?

...Mr.X phones his buddy and asked him, will it last? His feet trembling. "Oh, shit I am making a ton of money, but seems the Adsense Clicker software is also hacked - it's sending the seller private data from my computer". He continues, "Who sold you this, oh man".

Holy cow, his buddy told him.

They quickly uninstalled the Adsense Clicker software because it was stealing his Adsense account information - already the first cheque was sent to the Adsense Clicker software seller mailbox (thanks to the private info - username and password he stole from the buyer, Mr.X)

Anyway, our friend Mr.X did get couple cheques from adsense in his mail too.

Oh, yes!

The story goes that Mr.X and his buddy soon became pretty famous in the Google Adsense group.

Did I forget: They become famous with the Senator in court too couple months later. We wish them luck from the bottom of our hearths.

Natural Seo - The King's Advice

"Good advice is something a man gives when he is too old to set a bad example." -- Francois de La Rochefoucauld

Let's face it... I am too old to give a bad example - I tried it all already, even though I don't seem YET that way.

Black hat - I experienced it myself like years ago. I tried it too, those tricks like search engine clicker for example. Mass blog creation and posting on them and other stuff.

Risky stuff... you can apply them and test them out but things like getting banned and several penalties will be a common thing for your website.

I mean, people who wants shortcuts, who want high rankings but do not want to lift an arm, those are the victims of black hat. Which is nothing more than cheating search engines.

Natural seo - that's the methods I now use. SAFE, and there are software to pratically do everything automated, including the ability to hire people.

In fact YOU be surprised to know what I do in terms of SEO - I mean, what THEY do (software and people I hire) will take some time to explain. But what I do nope, in terms of seo, I can tell it all out in 5-10 mins.

Once you KNOW what to do, you can automate the process!

Your first few steps in learning the right things can be time consuming but it's a requirement.

However, most people think it will take a lot of work. If you have money to hire some people (like $100 or $150/month) and buy some software it isn't.

Always think of the RESULTS you are going to achieve for this effort. The money you are gonig to make, the leads you are going to capture - or the adsense clicks, the affiliate commissions...

CALCULATE how much money you are going to make.

To calculate conversion of your website, take a period like a month, and in same month calculate how many traffic you get being #1 for your keyword. Use keyword research tools to calculate the daily or monthly traffic of a keyword.

For most businesses it is 1% conversion, so for every 100 visitors ONE will buy. So if you get 20000 visitors a month and you earn $25 a sale that means you earn $4000 a month. If you sell one item.

mmm... sounds great doesn't it. Now, $4000 may not be $10,000 but I just gave you an example. 20000 is measly traffic compared to what you can get!

Think about conversion, calculate it! Stay motivated.

"Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game." -- Donald Trump

Once you know how to do SEO, it's a game you can play.

Google Webmaster Tools - Get your Free account!

First I want to share a nice TIP.

A quick way to find out of your website has some sort of penalty is to do this:

Search in google for your domain name.

Example: www.domain.com and hit search.

If your website does not come first place, or it ranks very low it means you have some penalty.

Google is also informing webmasters who have something "wrong", who have been penalized - by sending them a message. If you have a Google webmaster account you will receive a message if your website was penalized for some problems.

So you can FIX them.

In other cases they will even email you in extreme cases like if your website gets hacked. In that case they have to remove your website from the index - until you fix the problem, and then ask them a re inclusion request. You do that by filling in a form inside your Google webmaster account.

So by now you are realizing the benefit of having this free account with Google.

Other benefits include:

Hot benefit #1: You get messages if your website has something wrong, so you can fix - it helps improve your rankings.

Hot benefit #2: It's free and includes several tools like robots.txt creator and analyzer... data about which keywords your visitors are finding you... and which of those people are clicking most.

Hot benefit #3: You can submit a xml sitemap and that helps Google find your website pages faster - your site pages get indexed faster.

Hot benefit #4: You know if some people are linking to your website but they link to a wrong url. So you can contact them and tell them to fix it, so you get the proper backlink credit.

Hot benefit #5: Free gadgets for your website, one which I use is for the 404 error pages of your website. It shows visitors a search box so instead of going elsewhere to look for what they need, they can quickly search your entire site.

This is an advanced tool, not some crap!

With one free account you can manage as many websites as you like.

Other Google service I suggest you check out are: Google Analytics (also free) - it is also an advanced tool. You get traffic data about your website and it has other more advanced features.

What Is A Rss Feed

What Is A Rss Feed

Braine wants more info about RSS. I did write a full blog post about using RSS feeds to get backlinks.

You're going to discover now what are RSS feeds. What the heck they are and why you need to know?

An RSS feed or sometimes called Atom is nothing more than a type of webpage. A normal webpage ends with .html or .htm - those are the normal website pages. An rss feed or atom page ends with .xml (most often either atom.xml or rss.xml).

This type of webpage looks different than a normal webpage. You can see an example by visiting the OutRankSmart (ORS) blog rss feed:
http://www.outranksmart.com/blog/atom.xml

This type of webpage was created for Bloggers mainly. Bloggers you where watching a lot of favorite blogs had a problem. Basically they had to manually check everyday when their favorite blog/s has been updated.

To solve that problem RSS feeds came into existence. And with them the RSS reader. The rss feed (note it is called feed not webpage) of your blog automatically gets updated whenever you add new posts on your blog. So basically instead of visiting your blog I can visit your rss feed to check out if your blog is updated.

The problem for Bloggers gets solved with an RSS reader. The tool allows you to input rss feeds of any blog (and as many feeds as you want). It will tell you when a particular feed gets updated, so you know when one of your favorite blogs got updated (without the need to manually check each one).

So rss feeds as you can see alone with the rss reader are a very helpful "tool" for Bloggers.

Webmasters benefit from rss feeds as well:

Main Benefit: RSS feeds will help you get more traffic, more repeated visitors and more backlinks.

Visitors can bookmark in one or many of the social bookmarking websites your rss feed - which gives you traffic and backlinks. You can use the tool at http://www.addthis.com to create a bookmarking tool on your blog (that easily allows others to bookmark your blog).

You can also manually submit the rss field to various websites online. I provide a list of these websites in my other post which I mentioned at the beginning of this post.

So as you can see, if you have a blog your rss feed is a weapon to drive more traffic and get more backlinks.

Your blog account such as Blogger has features you can tweak for your rss feed. Mainly how it displays the posts.

For example:
Blog Posts Feed - You have three options, none, short or full. If you select none than the rss feed will just display a link to your blog post. If you select short apart from the link there will be a small description (snippet) of your blog post as well.

If you select full, the full blog post will be displayed in the rss feed. Recommended option is short.

Blog Comment Feed The same three options exist which work the same way. None, full or short. But this refers to the comments that visitors make on your blog.

The rss feed can display also the comments in the rss feed. By default I like to show only the content, so for that option I choose none.

So Braine, a fellow visitor that asked me the question on rss feeds, hope I am answering your question.

I'm going to write more articles on RSS fields soon.

Please leave your comments.

Social Bookmarking Q&A

"Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple." -- Dr. Seuss

Question #1: Is social bookmarking a good way to get more backlinks?
It is a good way to get backlinks. They still work!

Backlinks from these sites are like appetizers - not the main meal. They are good, but there are not "everything". Yet, still you should submit to social sites.

If you have time to do it manually why not?
If you can hire someone to do it why not?
If you can pay for a social bookmarking software why not?

I always say that you should never reject a link if there is no real reason to do it.

Question #2: What about those social bookmarking sites that are using the nofollow tag?
Those sites are not useless since for Yahoo and other search engines they still count as backlinks. For Google no, they don't count.

But not all of them use the nofollow tag. You don't pick up those that do not have the nofollow and submit to them. It will take ton of time researching.

Grab a software to do it automatically, or a service or hire people to do the researching and submission.

That's why I just submit to social sites just one time, do it right and move on to another method to get backlinks. I still submit to them though.

My optimization focuses for the Google, yet still if you hire people to do the submission (or use a software), it won't take too much time... so it's worth doing it.

Question #3: Karl, what's your thoughts on social bookmarking?
If you can get backlinks, do it! I just submit to a big number of social sites and then move to another method to get backlinks.

I hire people to do the task manually, do not use a software. But you can use software and the one I recommend is not very cheap, at $97 it's BookmarkingDemon

Recently Google also reported that they look at how many people bookmarked your website - especially in delicious.com so getting your website bookmarked there is definitely something positive. They did not though mention that it will improve your rankings - or have some positive effect in rankings.

But do not spend a ton of time on social bookmarking. Do it once, do it right and move on...

Question from Gabriel

"Ask questions from your heart and you will be answered from the heart." -- Omaha Proverb

Hi,

In the middle of a conversation Gabriel, asked me: "By the way, any tips for SEO? Is what I am doing on my site OK?"

And I emailed him some good tips to improve his website. To make it better for the search engines.

Here's my FIRST email:

"Here are some tips about this website:
http://32nod.110mb.com

First of all, the homepage should have content and a menu. Not just two links. Content can be an article or couple of them... and a menu so visitors can navigate through your website easily. For example in the menu put a link to the homepage, articles page and a sitemap.

A sitemap is a page, where you list the most important pages of your website. Just like mine: http://www.outranksmart.com/Sitemap.html

(notice also my menu at the bottom of that page)

And instead of putting my links and other link exchange partners on your website sidebar, you can create a so called linkspage. This will include categories and sub categories, and you put in your link partners in there... so your website is more organized.

Look at my linkspage for an idea:
http://www.outranksmart.com/links/resources.html

The other thing I truly suggest, is to buy your own domain when you can. You can purchase a domain from godaddy.com for around $9 a year. I then suggest you host your domain on hostgator.com (For $5 or less a month).

Here is a websites you can get coupon codes for hostgator.com discounts:
http://www.hostgatorcoupon.com

Hope all this helps.

Let me know if there is something specific you need help with."

Gabriel's one more question:
"One question, are the meta tags of the site good enough?"

Here's my SECOND email:

"Meta tags are almost good.

Each page of your website needs unique meta tags - the section that needs to be unique is the meta title, description and keywords. Or if your website is BIG at least the most important pages.

BUT remember, only input your main keywords in the keyword tag. Even though the keyword tag is not very much useful anymore for seo - putting it is better than not.

Pick up say three keywords you want your website to rank in Google first page. The best three that also are not too difficult to get high rankings for, since this is the first time you are doing seo.

Construct also a longer description and input just your main keywords there. The important thing is that you do not repeat the same keyword over and over trying to cheat in a certain way.

Proper seo is all about finding the right keywords and then when getting backlinks using those keyword in the anchor text. And I highly recommend you pick just one keyword, that you can easily get it ranked. Here is why:

If you plan to upgrade to a paid hosting account, all the backlinks you have become useless. It will be as if a completely new website.

Pick a keyword, which has less than million competitors, if possible. Here are tools I use: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com (shows
daily searches)

A keyword with 100 searches a day is good.

I also noticed that the bottom menu Site Map | Partners | Disclaimer all three links link to the same page: http://32nod.110mb.com/nod32/disclaimer.html (maybe a simple mistake)

The other key is to keep your website organized. A folder or directory for articles, one for partners, one for legal information and so on.

Plus work smart, means check out a good looking website, like mine :) see how I create meta tags, see how I create menu and a sitemap. Try to make as much as possible like that.

The key after all this is getting as many backlinks as you can."

Give Search Engines...

Hi,

This is not going to be too long.

I am going to provide a list of some "half baked theories" most commonly known.

If you are not motivated, enthusiastic and an honest person than my knowledge won't help you.

On the other hand if you have a SINCERE desire, you'll click here NOW and subscribe to my "free no strings attached" ecourse, Karl's SEO Gossip.

Inside I show you how to do these "theories" the right way.

Starting with the Duplicate Content theory - make sure your website content is unique, you do not have identical pages and if you copy an article from an internal page (or another website) link to the source.

Link exchanges are dead - make sure you do not just use link exchanges as a means to get backlinks. But obviously you should use them since they are the ones who will provide the quantity of links you require.

Supplemental index - this is used by Google. If a searcher types in a keyword and the spider finds two identical pages (with same article for example) one of them (usually the "copied" version) is thrown in the supplemental index. So searcher does not see duplicate results.

Sandboxed - your website can go to so called sandboxed if you do not update it regularly. Simple put if spiders think your website is not really useful they throw it there. (It is not the same as supplemental index). To get out, heck make it useful. Is it for your visitors? Or for your bank account (filled with adsense blocks only)? :)

Article submission to main directories or to all of them? - Well, article directories will link back to your website so you get the backlink. It does not matter that some of their pages go in the supplemental index because still you get the backlink credit. Submit to all of them, the more the better - the more backlinks you get.

Pagerank - gosh... if you are doing seo then you are getting backlinks... and if you are once you get certain quantity your pagerank will increase. I just know that mine will increase since I get backlinks. When I look at it and see high number I like it - but that's all I do or think about it.

A link from a high pagerank website is always better though than a link from a lower pagerank website. I do not go into this, because obviously all links count (as long as the website is not banned).

So that should help you understand some key elements of seo. You really should just learn how to do the rights things and then actually do them.

Here's another one which is more of a HEEELLLPPP than a theory. I don't blame you.

Google hates me - well if you think that way, you have little clue still about seo. You just need to know more of the right things to do!

To close this down something to think about:
"Give search engines what they themselves want to give their searchers."

Probably follow that advice makes spiders quickly fall in love (with no fear of divorce) faster than you imagine.

Hire AND Fire Approach - OutSource SEO!

"Do not hire a man who does your work for money, but him who does it for love of it." -- Henry David Thoreau

Hi,

Don't worry - I am kind and I am not recommending to you to start hiring people and firing them like a bad boy or bad girl. In fact here is a quote from a nice lady I hired for article writing:

"you were one of my regular and excellent client" -- Christy Tanner

BTW, she charged $5 an article, and you can hire people like her from www.scriptlance.com.

BUT I want to tell you about the option that exist... you can hire people to use OutRankSmart software. You do not have to use it yourself to get backlinks.

In fact if you are creating a business, you are a business owner not an employee that deals with the traffic/advertising. You manage the business.

So if you do not have time you can start finding people to help you! If you have other things to do - hire people!

I always recommend Scriptlance to find people (not posting a free project but a job listing).

Here I placed a template so you can use it:

----------------------------

Job listing title:
Do Link Exchanges With A Software I Give You

Job listing description:
Hi,

You need to know how to make link exchanges. I will give you a software which is easy to use, and you have to do 20 link exchanges a day, 5 days a week (using the software).

You can see a video here to see how to use the software to make link exchanges.

http://www.outranksmart.com/Videos/OutRankSmart-Demo/OutRankSmart-Demo.htm (just a demo video)

Obviously then I explain better how to use it if you have any questions, etc. You do not have to create any linkspages, ftp any pages, etc. I have a script (which you see me use in the video) that automates uploading of linkspages, etc.

You need to save your project (clicking save button) and at the end of the week send me the saved file (which is a text file). I want someone to work long term, not just for few weeks.

Thanks,
Karl Sultana

And YES, you can put down that link that points to a demo video I created about the software. Just so the people who are interested in that job can take a look to see what their job will be like.

There is a fee like I said to post a scriptlance job, like I explained in my other blog post: Do What You Love To Do! In that blog post you can watch a video I created about scriptlance, how to post a job listing and other tips.

There are many things do do with seo, especially if you have just started and are still learning. You need to manage your time wisely, so remember you have yet another option - outsourcing!

On a different note: Here is what I did this summer, 2008. It's not something I really really like to do, but I had lots of free time... I had to do something and here is what I did:

Those are two 1000 pieces puzzles, which hang on my wall. I did another one of 1000 pieces, which I will show you soon... and another one of 500 pieces. All in Summer. Damn! I think that's a lot of puzzles.

Review Of Peiprofit dot com Make Money Blogging

Hi,

This is Karl Sultana.

It's not usual for me that I review someone else blog. But that's what I am going to do now.

Are you interested to make money blogging?

If you are new to Internet Marketing, affiliate marketing and blogging is the two fastest and easiest way to get the ball rolling.

His blog covers EVERYTHING you require to start profiting from a simple blog you create. You can go visit his blog right now and make money blogging very soon.

The owner, Ben Pei from Singapore leads you through the process of setting up your blog, how to drive traffic (numberous ways) AND all the way to becoming a super affiliate. (In fact once you visit his blog, you can instantly download his free e-book, Instant Blog Traffic (as his way of saying thank you).

What is a super affiliate?

It is someone in my opinion who makes $50,000 or more monthly income as an affiliate. There is no exact definition of a super affiliate though. Blogging and affiliate marketing go hand in had.

You can promote affiliate products while you blog.

There are many highly successful affiliates who rely on affiliate marketing and blogging ONLY to make a full time income. Even I have seen that promoting affiliate products on your blog can be done. I did very well with that on my other blog in another niche.

Taking some action, visiting his blog, discovering tips and start blogging is the first step!

Making money online is like trying to tie lots of pieces together until you form a picture. I highly suggest you start forming those pieces together right now by visiting his blog.

I bet money on this:

Even though you won't make any money the same day you visit his blog (if you have just started in Internet Marketing) - but you will open up your mind to NEW things, getting a clear picture of how things work online - and start to build a plan of action that will lead you to your first cheque in the mail.

Talk to you later,

Do What You Love To Do!

Just a quick note to show you some of my paintings. I am not a professional artist. In fact I do not know how to paint anything apart from what you will see next.

I love all colors though and tend to love the blue and yellow most I think:

Remember I am not an artist :)

I think there is a name for that sort of painting but I do not know how to spell it... oops!

Not here is a quick tip on SEO:

Maybe you already visited one of the freelancing websites like elance.com or any one of the many sites.

I found best results - after years of hiring people on scriptlance.com But here is the difference.

Do not post a project on scriptlance. Post a Job Listing.

It is not free to post a job listing, there is a $35 fee but your project details or better called an AD, is remained live for 45 days.

I got some 70 emails and tons of new messenger contacts all wanting to be hired by me for my project.

The difference is that unlike a project I can save all these contacts on messenger or emails. If you just post a project you cannot communicate by messenger or by email so it's harder to find the RIGHT person.

I had to contact Scriptlance to remove my AD after about a week - because I had too many people to choose from. :)

So it is worth the money you spend.

Keep in mind English is not my first language :).

Here is a template if you want to hire a forum poster:

----------------------------
----------------------------

Hi,

I am looking for a forum poster that knows how to do the following:

1) Register in forums.
2) Edit the forum signiture (and place a signiture I will provide).
3) Find forums from Yahoo, Google or somewhere else.
4) Be able to do all that without any help.

You need to post 5 posts a day in 5 different forums, Monday to Friday.

The forums can be in any language and in any category. You need to provide me a weekly report. In the report you need to provide me the actual forums where you posted. You can choose any username you like.

The forum posts you write must be long, at least 4-5 long sentences.

I can pay though paypal or any other way.

Thanks,
Karl Sultana

----------------------------
----------------------------

There are some important things about the job description:

1) Make sure they know how to find and register with forums. Plus how to edit signiture.

2) Let them post in forums in any language and in any niche (apart from pornographic or illegal forums). One way links from different websites, different category is better than if all links where from the same type of forums, like all from golf forums for example.

3) The other important thing is that they do not post a very short post, but put at least 4-5 sentences so the forum administrator will not reject the post.

You may be asking, but Karl why all this? Aren't we just going to hire a forum poster?

I speak from my past mistakes, my years of experience in dealing with people I hire and from my results.

Do it ONCE, but do it RIGHT. After all you are going to hire someone for the long term, an employee!

On Scriptlance I hired:

>> Forum poster
>> Article writer
>> Someone to use my software, OutRankSmart when I was busy with other things.

I like to hire people, actually I like to automate things and to build a team - you get more things done faster and better.

I know how to write articles, but I cannot sit all day writing articles, posting to forums, writing content...

I do what I LOVE to do ONLY!

Doing what you love to do and outsourcing the rest keeps you motivated. You need to enjoy what you are doing or you get "sick" of it all.

If you like to post on forums but do not like to write articles - then hire article writer and post on forums yourself.

Think Differently About SEO

This is important:

Most webmasters start SEO and think along these lines:

"I am going to do anything I can to get a ton of backlinks. They say it helps to improve rankings.

I want to make a ton of money from my site so I try SEO."

There's nothing bad with that...

However try thinking in a different way as well. The way that Google and other search engines want you to think!

How's that?

Well, think of your visitors, think of those people that are typing in your keyword in the search engine.

If you are selling dog food for example. I type in dog food and your site is on first page. Will I as a visitor receive what I was looking for? Does your site provide enough of what I need? Those are the questions you have to answer on your website.

Keeping with the same example, you should provide things that someone looking for dog food wants.

(So apart from getting backlinks, etc etc - think of your customers and visitors)

Do you have dog food products? Do you make it easy and safe for your visitors to buy? If they are looking to learn how to feed their dog - do you have articles to show them how? Maybe they want to discuss other things about their dog with other dog owners, so do you have a forum?

Dog owners love a lot their dogs, they wish to keep updated of other things not just of dog food (even though in the example visitor searched for the keyword dog food). So did you try to research what they look for and give them just that on your website?

So as you can see with the example above - what I did is trying to figure out the visitor's mind. What he wants and how will I give him just that?

Search engines will love you for that.

They obviously want to PLEASE people who make the searches - they want to satisfy them.

Keep this in mind: Search engine optimization is not just about making money from the TRAFFIC. It's about providing the visitors who are searching with what THEY REALLY WANT!

Your site will be a blast if you do that and you will make a lot more money - almost guarantee that.

On another note, I love my what I think is a cute cup:

I like Coffee sometimes and I drink from that cup - my personal cup :) It sits on my desk at home. I am 23 years old, in case you were going to email me and ask me.

The Death of Search Engine Optimization

Is search engine optimization dead?

There are a lot of predictions or so called theories spreading around the web stating that seo is no LONGER an effective method to get traffic.

Now, if you worry about that, you will be shocked to discover that some even say search engines are not a good traffic generation method at all - totally useless for us webmasters.

So where does this leave you and your traffic stats?

Is SEO really dead?

Or... Is it going to end up very soon for any of us doing SEO?

Let me put it straight...

The answer is simple - the truth is: It doesn't matter what gurus say. Search engines and the Internet are ONE, without search engines there is no Internet, and without the Internet there is no search engines.

More and more people are coming online looking for information. So where do they go to search for what they want?

Forums, yahoo groups, well I don't think so.

Answer: Google, Yahoo and MSN, the most popular search engines, and with more and more people coming online, more keywords become popular.

You have more visitors with more people coming online or maybe even the keywords which get little traffic may suddenly become highly searched.

AND it gets even better for anyone doing seo...

When your website gets older and older, it will be EASIER to maintain your rankings and EASIER to get new rankings.

Search engines LOVE websites that are old.

Which all this means... (I am coming to the point)

Contrary to popular belief, it gets BETTER for us in all ways. Not only search engines will provide you with even more traffic, but also more opportunities to get traffic easier then before.

All the customers you want are using the search engines. Every single one of them. More ways to drive traffic include:

Email marketing, buying ezine ads, join ventures and without a doubt they are great.

But, and that's a BIG BUT... You are leaving money on the table, if you are ignoring every customer that is looking for what you are selling on the search engines.

There aren't other websites or portals that get more traffic then the search engines. IF you do email marketing, your target audience is limited to those who subscribe. IF you buy ezine ads it all depends on your budget.

IF you currently purchase leads, your target audience AGAIN is limited to the amount of leads you buy. You cannot buy enough leads to grow your business, it IS not enough to generate enough prospects. PLUS leads can be highly expensive and low quality prospects.

The traffic you get will double, triple and exceed any amount you ever got so far... if you get even just ONE keyword ranked in the least popular search engine from the three big ones, MSN... AND if you never made any sales, you will... I guarantee that!

To your success,

P.S. I know of no better way to tap into these multi-million dollar search engines than my software, OutRankSmart. Already, hundreds have developed a better internet business, getting more traffic, customers... easier... and relaxing because of the targeted visitors they are now getting each and every single day on the Internet.

It's working like magic for them... why not let it work magic for you too?

And yes, I'll give you $89.95 worth of bonuses, just for giving it a try. But the price may go up soon.
