Karl Sultana's Blog: Simple SEO Tips To Get More Traffic From Search Engines And MAKE Money...
_______________________________

The IMPORTANCE and Benefits of starting a Blog!

Hi,

Here's a brief post showing you what you can do INSTANTLY after you start a blog - that will help a) increase your search engine rankings b) increase your website traffic c) get you more leads and sales.

That is especially true if you already have a website - so you have yourdomain.com and now you'll start a blog on yourdomain.com/blog

==>Anyone in any niche can start a blog and fill it up with content - because remember you don't have to write articles on your blog - in fact a blog is not for articles mainly but it's a journal where you can post ANYTHING.

Whatever you want to post about; if you like what you're posting about rest assured there are other people that will like it too.

So if you have a website start a blog to enjoy those three benefits.

So here's what you can do (after creating the blog and filling it up with content). Make sure the blog has content - maybe it should have some 10 posts

Submit the Blog Rss Feed to Rss Directories - these are directories like for example: http://www.feedage.com

An RSS directory allows you to submit your blog content (therefore your RSS feed) and it allows visitors to read blogs easy. They also get updated often because RSS feeds gets updated too whenever you post something new.

Submit your Blog to Blog directories - these are less sophisticated sites - because they simple contain categories and subcategories and blogs. Just like website directories but these contain just blogs. Example: http://www.blogarama.com

Submit your best blog posts to Blog Carnivals - this is very little known - blog carnivals are sites that list the top blog posts. For example this blog: http://www.therealmind.com

If you search the blog you'll find that they are looking for blog posts/articles related to meditation (which is what their blog is about).

There's a directory that lists all of these sites that accept articles/blog posts http://blogcarnival.com/bc

They have a submission form and you can submit your best blog posts to 10 sites or to as many as you wish from their hundreds in no time. It's important that you only submit what you think are your best blog posts.

Once your submissions are accepted they are listed on all the websites you've submitted to. Sometimes they also comment on your blog to let you know they have accepted your submission.

So these are sites that want content - and they will link to it.

Use your website resources - Add an optin form on your blog if you are building a list, promote your products on the sidebar if you have products and/or services. So use your blog as a marketing tool. That's also one BIG reason why it's vital to have a blog. It's a weapon that gets you traffic/leads/sales. And all you have to do is post content on it...

>> OutRankSmart™ software next upgrade will do all I mentioned here automatically that is rss submission, blog directory submission and blog carnival submission. It will do more than that too.

Finally I like to tell you that having a blog on your website also increases your website rankings. If you put content on the blog search engines love content! Plus if you link to the website from the blog posts sometimes; you give pagerank to your website as well.

So not only your blog itself will rank high in the search engines (I mean the blog posts for specific keywords) but also your website will get a boost in pagerank and looks more of an authority by search engines when you have a blog updated regularly with new and useful content.

How To Automatically Reply To Link Exchange Requests Via Email!

Is it boring to reply to link exchange requests that you get via email? I think you'll say a yes.

I found a solution, it's especially useful when your business grows and you'll start getting like 3 or more link exchange requests every day and your email is flooded with these un replied emails - plus you'll also loose on the opportunity on getting backlinks if you don't reply.

So this solution requires a Gmail account - they have a gadget that you need to enable and no other email client currently has this gadget. I'll show you how to set up everything with screenshots below.

>> This gadget will allow you to click on reply when you see an email from someone who wants to exchange links with you - then click another button and a reply message is automatically filled.

I'll tell you what message I created and send to these link exchange requests so you can simple copy it and edit it to suit your needs. But no more replying to countless emails saying the same thing.

So signup for a Gmail account or login to your existing account and click on Settings. You'll see this:

Then click on Labs.

Scroll down until you see a Gadget called Canned Responses and then select Enable to enable this gadget.

Click on Save Changes at the bottom.

Now click on Compose Mail as if you're going to create a new email to send to someone.

In the Subject Field type the reply subject, here's what I use:
Re: link exchange request noadware
In the Body Field here's what I use and recommend you use (why I tell you in a second):

Hi,

If you're asking for a link exchange with my site deletespyware-adware.com then please I suggest you check out my link directory. That's the place I will put your link (in the category you desire). Please take a look at:

http://www.deletespyware-adware.com/links/resources.html

Once there please click on Add Link so you submit your website. Alternatively you can also go directly to submission form at: http://www.deletespyware-adware.com/links/addlink.php

We cannot reply to all link exchange requests we receive that's why we've setup this system. We do check all submissions weekly or bi weekly and you will get an email once we approved your website and listed it.

Thank You,
Karl Sultana

Then click on Canned Responses button that will appear and click on New Canned Response under Save just like screenshot:

Then you'll see a confirmation message:

Click OK.

You can create as many canned responses as you like. Just repeat the procedure again. In a second I tell you how to use the canned messages.

Before I will explain why I created and wrote that message in my canned response. These people that are emailing and asking for a link exchange I just told them to basically go visit my link directory (so they can see it's neat and the place I will link to them) - then I told them to use the submission form to submit their website.

>> So you need to have a submission form on your website and a well organized link directory. I use AutoLinksPro to do both of those and more.

I also told them (so they feel secure) that I check all submissions weekly or bi weekly. I also told them that they get an email when their submission is reviewed. They feel safe this way and won't think along these lines: "Oh this guy probably does not ever look at my submission so why bother wasting my time."

The AutoLinksPro script will email them automatically if I approve/reject their link, it also automatically adds the link to my link directory (no ftp required). So this all makes it easy.

Next: How to use the canned messages!

Now when you receive an email, just open it, click reply and click on Canned Responses. Then select the canned response you want to auto type by clicking on it under Insert. The message gets auto typed in less than a second and you're ready to send.

Here's screenshot:

So that's it.

Here's a recap:

1) You enabled the Canned Responses from Settings > Labs in your Gmail account.

2) You created canned responses messages, therefore messages that Gmail can automatically type for you. You saved these canned responses.

3) When you receive a link exchange request email you simple hit reply, select the canned response and it will be automatically written.

That's it. It is efficient, this method will still allow you to check the websites doing link exchange with you because when they submit their website you can review it before it's listed in your link directory if you use AutoLinksPro.

How To Create A Llink Exchange Directory! 90% Of Webmasters Get This Wrong!

It's true 90% of webmasters don't have a link exchange directory as it should be. 30% of those completely miss the point and it's like they don't know what they're doing at all.

So here's the right way to create a link exchange directory. There's no talking in here for long... 1 Mind Map which you can download below will explain it all step by step...

You can download Google Picassa if you don't have Windows Photo Viewer that comes with Vista. You can open pictures in full screen, zoom in and zoom out easily. It's better than viewing the mind map in the browser. To open image with Picassa or Windows Viewer click on the link, than right click on the mind map and select Save Image As.

In case you're wondering what are the benefits anyway of having a link exchange directory the RIGHT way here they are:

1) Search engines will like your website more, the more it's well structured and easy to navigate the more they like it.

2) Your link partners won't get frustrated when they're looking to find their link on your linkspages.

3) Your visitors won't get bored with tons of links that confuses them.

Link Exchange Requests Via Email - Super Tips!

Hi,

If you do link exchanges by emailing webmasters these super tips will increase the responses to your emails... result is more links!

Many times you send emails and not receive a reply. I shall reveal the right way to approach a webmaster, what to say in the email and everything else to start getting responses and a lot of them!

It's easy to just compose an email and hit the send button - but to get a reply you need to do a little more than that.

What you should include in the email?

First of all keep it short and sweet, there's no need to explain the benefits and all that - it's boring and you should anyway always ask for a link exchange to someone who is already actively doing it - (check his website, if he has a link exchange directory he is active).

If he is doing link exchanges there's no need to explain to him what it is, the benefits and all that. Don't waste his time.

Second always include the link information. This is the Title of your website (which should be a keyword), Description and Url. So in email tell him, look to link to me use this information.

Title of site: dog food
Description: We sell all kinds of pet products including for dogs...
URL: http://www.yourdomain.com

Third always include the html code, not just the link information but the actual code so they just copy & paste it - you make their life easy.

Huge tip:

There are TWO ways to write an email, like I said short and sweet is best. You can use both and test to see which one gets you better results (the one which gets you most replies).

First is to actually link to the website and then in email you can tell him, look I've already linked to you... now link back to me please... This approach is something great because they obviously know you're done something for them already.

However the downside is that you have to spend more time with that. Means you have to remove the links of those that do no reply, and add them too in the first place.

Second way which I highly recommend is to ask them if they are interested for a link exchange. Then tell them look if you are interested just reply and I'll link back to you first. Then add also of course your link information and html code. Tell them here's my html code and linking information.

This second method will save you more time, you only link to them if they are interested. The approach is still great, because you actually are asking them a question and you look interested and personal. It's also short and sweet they read it in a flash and just hit reply and tell you YES or Ok, let's do it - it's great for them.

The worst link exchange emails are those that are long and those that are unfriendly saying something like:

Link to me first please.
Or
I will link to you first but if I don't receive a reply back from you within two days I remove your link.

Those are not very friendly. So use the second method, probably it's more simple than you currently do it.

Thanks

Top 3 Link Building Methods For Maximum ROI

(ROI is return on investment)

I dare to say that if you discover how to get backlinks, it's better than trying hard to know everything about SEO... just to show how good getting backlinks is, they're like the fuel that pushes the rocket upwards. In your case they're the fuel that pushes your rankings upwards.

But there are many little 'bits and pieces' you need to take care of when it comes to getting backlinks. Nothing really special, but they are important for specific reasons.

The time and money you spend getting backlinks should be managed, so you spend it on good backlink generation methods that give you fast and great return on your investment (ROI). This is especially good because of the fact that most people nowadays are busy.

You don't want to do all link building methods that you can think of. No! You want to do the most effective link building methods, and so if you spend time on getting links manually by contacting bloggers to exchange articles with you - something few do, and you feel exhausted because no one replies, then of course you need to stop and use a better method.

So here they are...

The top three link building methods for quality backlinks and quantity (if used the right way) for me at least, have been:

Link exchanges, the best method to get quantity of links - I mean a lot.

Forum posting, another great method to get a lot of links and even quality if you post on forums in your niche. (forums are full of content, that's why you get quality links).

Article submission, a great method to get quality links.

Again there are specific strategies to do these what I consider top three (in my opinion and experience) effectively.

Now you need only those three methods? Yes and No. Yes, if you have limited time and money. No, if you have all the time available to use other methods, or money to pay others to do the other methods as well.

Most often, your time and money is limited, you don't want to invest a lot in SEO, which is just a traffic stream, it's nothing more than another stream of traffic (which you should not rely on it alone for traffic in the long term). Then you want to expand and utilize other traffic building methods. Suggested is also the fact that focusing until you "get it" right in SEO is better than using like 3 different traffic building methods all at once.

The big point is to invest your time and money on the link building methods that will provide the best ROI.

It's always good to use ALL link building methods that exist... but it's like
mission impossible.

So apart from those Top Three methods, you can if you afford, invest money or time and use other methods as well. Am I saying don't do directory submission? Yes, if you don't have time - if your time is limited just focus on those three methods, you see rankings improve faster and make some money faster.

To push your site rankings upwards for lots of keywords and make it a BOMB like I call it, you should then use all link building methods including the paid once, that includes submitting to top paid directories, etc. But for most, that's only after you see some profit, and it should be that way.

So the picture here is for you to know how to use your time and money for the Maximum return on your investment. This is also the best way to get rankings quickly and fast.

What else can you do to use the top three link building methods more effectively?

First of all using software such as http://www.outranksmart.com to make link exchanges lightning speed and easy. Use services like Content Crooner, or software to submit to article directories not just submitting manually to top 10 or less directories. That's not going to help a lot if any.

For forum posting, you can hire someone to do it, but it can be quite expensive since it's not a one time fee, it can be a weekly fee or depends whom you find.

Hiring someone from India or Romania sometimes they tend to charge the least.

The of course other important thing is know the right theories like the duplicate content theory from the right folks. I mean some people don't submit to as many article directories as they can, because of fear of this theory. Or they spend countless time spinning articles, etc. You need to learn therefore and stay a bit up to date, with things like that.

Those by the way are all things you can avoid doing, I never spin articles, or that kind of thing.

The other thing is the most important of all, which is proper keyword research. Whatever new tactic you discover in SEO, keyword research is always important.

It's really a do or die thing, so you should discover how to do it properly. You need always to know which keywords you want to rank for, for various reasons, one being for proper usage of anchor text in backlinks.

You have the pieces of the puzzle here, just put them together and you get high rankings for your chosen keywords.

4 Very Important Strategies To Know About Getting Links

Graphs are used to give you the ideas clearer... Click graphic to see bigger image.

1. The way you get links over time.

That looks ugly and not good. To get ranks get links this way...

Not the very specifics of the graph down to minimum detail is important but the difference between the two graphs. The big clear difference, the way you get the links.

One weird like 1000 links in few days, then nothing for weeks, then again some links for few days, then nothing or a lot... and so on, completely unorganized approach.

The good way is clear, it's showing clearly to search engines that the site is getting links regularly.

Search engines do look at how your website gets links over time - what I call the linking pattern.

So the way you get links should look like the right way - not the other one. I'm not mentioning any numbers or specifics here like get 15 link exchanges and 30 one way links per week or anything like that. You just focus to have your "linking pattern" as much as possible as graph number 2. That's my point here.

For specifics you know I say 15-30 link exchanges daily is great. No specifics for one way links just of course like I mentioned to not get like 1000 one way links on a single day and then nothing for an entire month.

2. The pages you link to.

Now obviously it's your homepage that's going to have the most backlinks. But there's a better way to do it than just getting ALL backlinks pointing to your homepage.

That's not the right way. It's strange and weird that all the backlinks you have point to your homepage.

The right way is that after some time you get links pointing to your other pages of your website as well, and preferable not to contact us pages (or other "useless" pages), but to your blog post pages, articles, and useful content. Do this not too often but still keep doing it.

In second graph you see that most links point to homepage, yet other pages too did get some links even though little they did get...

3. The anchor text you use.

To do this right the very first step is doing proper keyword research. Plus you should find more than 1 keyword you want to rank for, or else create variations of the keyword like say it's dog food

Then create variations to have more than that one keyword:

dog food on sale
cheap dog food
adopt a dog
etc etc

Because the wrong way to get links is when you use always same anchor text as graph is showing you.

That's strange and weird that all (or almost) backlinks your website has, all have same anchor text. For you it's not strange maybe, for me neither heck we don't care but search engines think there's something strange there.

So...

Every now and then - but not often, yet keep doing it, change the anchor text of the links...

You can use this formula:

Say
you want to rank your website for only 1 keyword.

60% of the time use the keyword in the anchor text, while 40% of the time use the keyword variations. Or better still find more than one keyword, and instead of keyword variations use them 40% of the time.

Does this makes sense to you?

Again that's not a rule, it's just a guideline to give you an idea how often to change anchor text.

The big idea here is that if you could look at all the links you have - they should not be all (or almost all) with same anchor text.

4. Getting links from different domains.

Remember these four strategies are crucial, the most important. If you do these right you'll get high rankings and you be doing SEO the right way - that means you also avoid penalties, etc.

This one is also very important to increase your website rankings.

You want to get links from unique websites, different domains therefore.

This is easy to explain. 15,000 backlinks all from the same domain won't help you that much. Google will only give you credit for some 100 of them.

So it's suggested you don't go buy those packages (called Site Wide links) which promise you thousands upon thousands of links - all from same domain - because Google like I said will not give you credit for all those backlinks.

This fourth strategy should also help you to understand that you should not waste time submitting a ton of different urls to sites like Digg.com. One backlink from each website is good. Find other unique domains.

You might think but when doing article submission we're submitting always to same article directories. The point is with article submission other webmasters pick your articles and put them on their website as well giving you more one way links... so that's good to do.

So this fourth technique is useful to avoid wasting money on Site Wide links and time submitting or getting links from same domain.

Most people do this technique the right way.

There you have it!

Free Way To Get One Way Links

Even though not the best way, it's great almost fun and easy to do. The idea is to create profile pages in various websites, any website.

However for backlinks to have any real value, you must check to see if the profile page you'll create is blocked or not via robots file and if it's using nofollow tags on the links.

If it's blocked it's useless. So before creating a profile, first click on a member profile, I'm sure the site you find has already plenty of members. Then make sure that page, which is a profile page is not being blocked by robots.

You can use Google Webmaster Tools to check robots file, following their pretty easy instructions, if you're new to robots. Then a plugin that highlights nofollow links exist as well. Or else right click on the link in profile page and click properties, it will have rel nofollow writting if it's with nofollow. But it's better to use a plugin since you want specifically to check not any link on profile page, but YOUR link, the website url. Not all links may have the nofollow tag.

So this method the only thing is checking if page is blocked by robots or with nofollow tag. Finding websites that allow you to create profiles is the easiest thing. Even forums if you join some, fill profile especially the location where you can input a website url.

Social sites like myspace and you can input the url in Google and click on Similar sites link. That will present you with a list of related sites to myspace.

Story websites as well and to find a lot of them repeat same technique. In other words websites which have a Join button or Signup for an account and so on. A good idea is to input not just the website url in the profile but also add more info as much as they allow. So there's also some content if possible.

Not all websites are the same, some will allow other options, for example some ask you for your rss feed which is a great thing. Others allow you to insert links to your blogs as well as your website. Others allow you to create a blog something myspace does but they do not allow direct linking to your website. Myspace is therefore useless.

The idea here is to get backlinks from these websites, these are one way links you're going to get so they are very powerful. But you need to be a bit careful so you don't waste your time getting useless links.

Incredible Easy Ways To Get Free Backlinks

It's easy to get backlinks not that these methods are one click and submit to thousands of websites. No, it's because your goal is to get those 30 backlinks a day approximately.

Search engines look more into your link building pattern rather than how much links you have got today. Getting a thousand links today will do you little good if you don't get anything for like a week.

It may actually look spammy if you over do it. So use these free methods if you don't want to opt for paid methods. These are the best of the best.

1) Forum Posting.

This is simple finding forums related to your website, in your niche and then joining, make sure they allow signatures and post a reply.

One of the top ways for one way links.

2) Article Submission.

Submit to top article directories. I won't suggest you spend all that time to submit to other article directories as well manually. Instead use that time for forum posting. Spend time wisely therefore.

Probably the best way to get one way links because you get quality and quantity. Quantity because most webmasters that like your articles will put them on their websites and that gives you MORE backlinks.

3) Link Exchanges.

There are many link exchange services like membership sites where you join, and exchange links with other members. There are a lot of these membership sites and you can easily get many link exchanges this way. Adding a submission form on your link exchange directory will get you even more links. Get some free script to do this. There are many websites online that have a collection of free scripts.

The form is like a contact us form, but with some extra fields.

This is in the list of best free ways because you can get a LOT of links this way to improve the quantity of links you have.

4) Story Sites

The thing with this is that you should not get too many links from the same domain. That's quite useless, spend time better. If you find a story site, which accepts news stories and so on, then try to find related stories sites using Google. Find other sites like it for submission. To story sites you can submit an article you have on your website or blog.

There are many story sites, when you find one type the url in Google search box and click Search. Then next to the domain in search result click on Similar sites and you see a list of potential related sites.

Ok, there you go, you should conquer some keywords with those free methods alone, without spending a dime. Assuming you have done keyword research properly so you know how to use them in anchor text.

You have both quality and quantity with those methods. Don't try to get as many links as you can in a single day. You end up getting too many links which is not bad, but you'll probably won't do it over and over again, that's the bad thing - your linking patter won't look good.

Free Link Building Technique For Bloggers

This technique is used by some top bloggers with good results... actually the more traffic you have the more it will work.

Basically this works by creating a new blog post and linking to other blogs on this post. So you link to them FIRST and then go to their blog and tell them you linked to them. Ask them to check it out and link back to you. Tell them too that this technique is viral and they can get lots of backlinks if they link back.

Do link only to related blogs. This technique is sometimes also known as a Blog Virus For Bloggers. It goes more viral than that though. You also add your blog in the list. Then in blog post tell people to copy the links and create a new blog post and put all links there.

Then they do the same as you did, commenting on the blogs and telling people they have linked to them. So if you can pretty well see, you are getting links from bloggers that you've placed their link on your website. Plus you get links from your visitors who sort of participate and put the links on their website... and do like you did.

It gets viral the more your visitors participate and copy all your links and put them on their blog. You can be creative a bit, maybe offer some bonus for those who participate... or anything that will get them to take action.

Remember, after 1-2 months than go back and check which bloggers linked back and which did not. You can safely remove bloggers who did not link back to you. Those are not interested. Most often those bloggers who link back to you will also comment on the post to let you know.

If you want to make it easy for your visitors to participate then make it easy for them to copy the links. Usually they have to do it manually, but you can tell your webmaster to simple create some box with the required html. They just copy and paste the html code in the blog and they're done.

For your visitors also tell them they have to create a blog post the same way you did, so they too go viral, they too will get visitors putting the links on their blogs. Plus they too have to tell the bloggers they linked back. Exactly same thing you did.

So there's a way to get free backlinks for your blog, which can be fun too. I suggest you leave it there for 1-2 months, then just remove the blogs who did not link back.

Are Links From Edu or Org Websites Better?

Not all websites are dot com, even though it's the most common. For seo purposes you don't need to know technical detail, you need to know more what works best to improve rankings.

A website which is not a dot com, but a dot org or a dot edu still is a website. If no other website links to that, it's still a low quality website. I can go register a dot org and put adult content on the page. The site gets listed as bad neighborhood if I use black hat strategies on it and get caught.

So the point is, getting a link from a dot org or dot edu is not a better or more quality in some way or another. Authority sites are sites that a link from is great, but not all dot org websites are authority sites even though they may look like. Not all dot edu sites are authority sites just the same.

In general Google treats all domains the same no such preferences are given to domains with dot org and dot info and dot net are also not give less preference. All domains are treated equal.

From an seo point of view you should not worry about finding these org or edu links because they are the magic pill, because it's not the case. So don't ask the government website for a link exchange... Seriously speaking it will be a waste of time since Google does not treat them better in some way or another.

Since Google said links from authority websites are better, most assumed that org or edu websites which are most common with government sites and the like have something special. Authority is not the org or edu, but the site itself, the quality of the site, how many others link to it and other specific details related to quality and linking of the site.

Trying to find them is the painful road. Google primary objective is the searcher. Giving him the best results. Like I said you can go register a dot org right now and then register a dot com at the same time. If both domains are brand new, you still have not yet added content to them, then why the dot org should be known as better than the dot com.

Makes no sense, for the searcher he does not care whether it's com or org. You can easily buy org domains in bulk and put content in them, then cross link them, and there you go you have high quality links from dot org links. That's a loophole and Google has a way around all loopholes. So something silly as org or edu domains will give you a better quality link does not exist.

Take advice from the King :)

Are three way link exchanges good?

What's a three way link exchange? There is the normal link exchange where one webmaster exchanges links with another. Both parties agree to put a link on their website. Webmaster of site A links to the site B of another webmaster, and webmaster of site B links back to his site.

That's also known as reciprocal link exchange or reciprocal linking. Is it effective? Yes, if you use other link building methods with it, No if you solely get links by doing link exchanges.

So thee way link exchange is slightly different. One example of this is when you have multiple websites. You ask a webmaster saying, look I have site A and site B. Please link to site A from your site, instead of linking to your site from site A which is a normal link exchange, I link back from site B.

So three way link exchange makes use of more than two sites.

Another example of this is the opposite, you get a request from someone instead of sending a request. He puts your website on his site B and you link to his site A.

What's happening here and this is important. In first example you have two sites, one is linking to other sites, the other is getting the links. So one is getting one way links, because it's not linking back, while the other is giving away lots of links without getting any back.

Site A that gets links will improve ranks, site B will loose ranks assuming you are not getting links to it as well by doing some other link building method.

Here's when you should reject a three way link exchange. If someone asks you to put his site on yours, and he will link back from another site do not accept if your link is on a directory. Or the site is not indexed.

Three way link exchanges require you understand what you are doing. Most often people who ask for 3 way have their main site which they want to get high ranks for - so they get links to that. Then they have some other site or more which they just use to link back. The site they link back are of low quality in most cases.

I always check to see if my link when doing three way link exchanges is going to be on a quality site. Are they getting links to the site or adding content - you can check that, if they are gtting links it should be indexed. I don't want my link on a page they are using just for the sake of putting tons of links on it.

This type of linking is a bit advanced to understand, unless you know what link exchanges are and other seo factors that are important for websites to get high ranks.

How many articles should you write on a weekly basis?

The more the better as a general guideline. Again it depends how you are going to use the articles.

For article submission or for your website, in any case write articles related to your website. Start with that first, only then move to writing articles closely related to your niche.

If I have an anti spyware software, I first write everything I can about spyware, adware, trojans and slowly start moving to related topics like spam, scams, popups, buying online safe and so on.

One article submission a day has a very positive impact on your rankings. It's the best way because it's not very few submission or a lot of submission.

But if you think you cannot write one quality article a day, either hire someone to do it, or write one every two days.

Do not use article spinners, your articles will hardly get approved in article directories. You can generate a thousand articles, with few different words between them with article spinner. But you will not have a good reputation, not only will visitors reading your article instantly notice it, it gives you a bad image.

But article directories will delete and possible even delete your account.

Quality articles get approved, webmasters use them on their website or blogs. You get links from people who like them as well.

Here's something important.

If you are submitting articles for backlinks, do not submit to just the top 5 or 10 directories.

Not enough.

Use a software or a service, and blast the quality articles to as many article directories as you can. That gives you maximum backlinks.

Doing that, I bet a boost in your rankings. Though you should make use of the anchor text in the bio, not always same anchor text. For best results change it often. I create a list of keyword variations of my keywords, and use those. A pretty big list of say twenty to thirty variations of my main keywords.

Search engines love to see that, it looks natural. It does not look as if you are trying to spam the keyword. If you use always same keyword in anchor text, you look like you are trying to spam it. So if doing one submission a day to a thousand sites. That means a possible seven thousand backlinks all with same anchor text. How worse can it look?

Note that article submission is good, but not all article directories will approve your articles always.

So that's another good reason why submitting to a lot of them is the right way. If you just submit to ten sites and two reject your article, you have submitted to eight sites only.

But if a handful sites reject your article, and you submitted to hundreds it won't even matter at all.

How fast should you build links to a brand new site ?

You should get your website links, at first it really does not matter the quantity. Just do not exaggerate like 1000 links in a day.

The faster you get high pagerank links from authority sites like the top directories the better. It's an advantage because Google considers the age of links. But top directories are not free, so it's optional so to speak.

But your goal is 70% related and 30% unrelated link exchanges, I don't mind getting a lot of them fast at first. But then keep doing it daily, regularly for like 15-30 exchanges a day.

But to get indexed fast, I do use all methods for one way links instantly. Directory submission and rss submission is something you do once, only once.

So keep it moderate that's the key here.

Once you do directory and rss submission if you have a blog with your website also blog directory submission but optional - then start the normal precedure. I would do also submission to top paid directories if you can.

Normal procedure is the best link building methods, and goal is doing it regularly. Article submission and link exchanges are the top two ones that you can do daily.

You cannot do daily directory submission, they are not infinite in number. But the things you do once like directory submission I do them as quickly as possible. As your site gets older these links become always more quality according to Google. So do them first.

So there is no secret. We take in consideration Google's age algorithm so we do certain link building methods first thing. But them we start seo the normal regular way, there are many ways to get more one way links, which you can use as well.

But I don't rush, you really don't need to worry too much. Moderation again is the key here. Not just links after all, you want content added as well.

Google also considers the way you add content - how often it is updated. So adding one article every two days or three is great. The more and more often you added the better - always assuming they are of quality.

You don't want to get a thousand articles you got from plr membership, or generated by article spinner. That's not content, that's not quality, you get better results if you don't add something similar at all.

The duplicate content and so many other theories all are the results of a poor website. Poor design, poor quality, in other words most often it's because you're not thinking of your visitor, and the repeated visitors if you have a big site.

SiteWide Links - Too Many Links?

Let me put two question:

Can you have too many links that can raise red flags?

Is 15,000 sitewide links are good or bad?

Let me tackle each one...

Can you have too many links that can raise red flags?

YES in some cases too many links can give you some penalty. For example...

If you sell templates and each user that downloads the template gives you a one way link from the template - and you have some 14,000 users (so 14,000 backlinks all with same anchor text) that's not good idea.

I will do these changes:

1) First I will use other link building methods. So it's not just these one way links from unrelated websites.

2) I will create different anchor texts for the templates - figure out some way that not all users that download the template will link back to my website using same anchor text.

I definetly don't want 14,000 backlinks all with same anchor text. That's so sh*t and so spammy.

3) I would even figure out a way that not all users will link to my homepage. So some will use different anchor text but some will link to some of the other pages of my website.

In other words I am getting links but in a natural way. 14,000 one way links is amazing.

But ONLY worth it and good if:

*You have different anchor text in the backlinks, some with your main keywords, variation of your main keyword, related keywords and variations of your related keywords.

*You get links point to your homepage but also to your other pages of your website.

That looks natural.

Second question:

Is 15,000 sitewide links are good or bad?

Sitewide links is different than the example above - these are all links on the same domain. So a website with 15,000 pages will give you 15,000 links, one link from each page.

Google does not count all backlinks you get from any one domain.

So it's not useless... but you won't get that same value as appears.

I would not buy such thing... for that simple reason that Google with count just a bunch of those links (will give you credit for only few links) and ignore the rest.

Seems pretty on the surface (waw 15,000 links - that's insane!) no? But Google has a way around this, they know sites can sell these links.

Such "loopholes" to get a ton of links fast is ending...

Years ago you could by hundreds or thousands of links from ebay, and instantly get a high rankings. Not anymore! Google had a way around that "loophole" of fast rankings - which is nothing more than cheating. Google wants quality websites... not webmasters who cheat their way to the top!

Remember the first example is totally different than the second example. The second example are just links on same domain!

How Many Page Rank 2 Backlinks For Getting Page Rank 1

How Many Page Rank 2 Backlinks For Getting Page Rank 1

I heard that question recently, and it's very interesting.

Seems someone is trying to buy high pagerank links to improve his own pagerank. Smart way, but I think it's better to buy the high pagerank links to improve rankings (with that in mind) rather than to improve pagerank.

Many webmasters go in places like guru.com, scriptlance.com and hire people to get them these high pagerank links. A mistake! Why? In my opinion there are far better ways to get high pagerank links rather than hiring someone - you do not know from where he is going to get you the links - that's number one.

If he is going to do article submission - you have far better options like Content Crooner. The service that kicks ass!

Remember, now Google can give you a penalty if they find out your links are "paid links" - means you paid to get the links. Even though they really do not have something very well setup to determine paid links VS no paid links.

But Google is always evolving and their algorithms change fast and change to deal with certain issues very well.

There are many reasons why they do not like paid links.

Back to the question...

You have to consider several factors to sort of calculate how many pagerank 2 backlinks you need to get your website a pagerank 1.

In itself the question may seem confusing.

I do not know the exact number of backlinks you need for your website to become a pagerank 1.

What I do know from my results, and those of others, is that constantly getting backlinks... everyday from any pr website for 1-3 months will give you a pagerank 4 website. Getting some 15-30 link exchanges a day, plus one way links from other sources.

Pagerank 3-4 is guaranteed that way!

But once again, to give you an exact mathematical calculations only search engines know the answer.

Pagerank 2 is easy to get just like I said, a pagerank 4 can be achieved within 1-3 months...

The pagerank thing is used by Google only. It's not useless, but the pagerank you see in the Google toolbar (if you have it) is probably not very up to date.

A backlink from a pagerank 4 page is always better than a backlink from a lower pagerank number page.

So your question even though I think no one will give you the exact number is very interesting - and raises up several interesting things about pagerank.

Yet, I do worry nothing about pagerank of my website. I know for certainty that the methods I use while optimizing my wbesite - will at the same time increase my pagerank to at least pagerank 4 within 1-3 months.

So here's a lesson: It's better to focus on the methods to optimize your website - the methods that work - rather than trying to increase your pagerank.

AND Go get Content Crooner and do a daily submission - one article submission a day and you see miracles on your rankings and pagerank.

Is Blog Commenting Effective?

My Answer:

Yes and No, depends!

It's not my preferred method because most blogs use the nofollow tag on the links. That means the backlinks are useless for rankings in Google. But good still for Yahoo, Msn, etc.

But the thing is you have to find blogs without the nofollow tags - and post on those. That's my suggestion, that's what I would do.

I only focus on Google, the best search engines... so I prefer investing time on effective methods that will bring me the results I wish.

So if you are aiming to let's say test out seo - how it will work for you, and maybe you want to use MSN for your test - to gain some experience - then yes commenting is great way. It's fast and easy. Maybe fun too :)

I would suggest you comment on blogs that are related to your niche - that way the backlinks you get will have more quality.

Obviously no spamming - not one line posts. Those get deleted most often.

For link back, I would also suggest to NOT put the link in the comment itself. Again because they may not approve your comment, they delete it.

Blogger blogs have the ability to post Name and Url, while commenting. There's where you input the url... and maybe a keyword in the Name field. Keyword is very important - but again you have to be cautious. Just so you avoid getting the comment deleted. You want them to approve it. That's your goal.

Work on good comments, maybe read the posts first before spraying some words in the comment section.

You can even outsource blog commenting if you wish. I like to mention outsourcing because REALLY, there are people who are willing to do almost everything for your money.

I once hired a lady to post on 300 blogs without the nofollow tag (email me for the list of blogs, which I used to sell for $5) for some $15. These are great blogs, high quality with all minimum pagerank of at least 3 up till pagerank of 7.

That's cool, but to find those blogs it's not easy... I have the list if you want them.

Link Bait - Effective?

"I'm a controversial figure: my friends either dislike me or hate me." -- Oscar Levant

It can be effective if you answer YES to any of the following:

* You know how to write.

* You know how to write content that other people will link to it... means content that attracts people, interesting enough that a ton of other people link to it.

* You can do the above very often.

Link bait is nothing spammy, in fact it's a great way to get great links - but as you can imagine it's also not as easy as it may sound.

How many of you can (especially if English is not your first language) sit down and write something so controversial & interesting that others will link to it?

Others here is not 1 or 2, for link baiting to be your primary source of getting links you have to, heck, get hundreds of these links.

It's however the best way to get links!

There is no doubt in my mind, if you can create that content that people will LINK to - it's the best backlinks (one way links) you will get!

Even though if you are good at that, you need other link building methods... so you also get links with anchor text of your choice.

But link baiting is great way to get one way links - one way to start is to look at social or story sites like Digg or Shoutwire stories. Check out which stories got the most hits, the top stories in your niche. What they are writing about that you can "copy"?

If in the seo niche one of the hot topics IS maybe an article controversial about pagerank. You can write one yourself on that topic - making it better.

And always make it easy for other people to link to your site. Put a Link to us page if you are going to use this method. I suggest you at least try to see if you can get some ideas and write something you think is controversial & interesting.

You do not have to get it right - just get it going a bit, and see how it goes. Maybe you won't get links instantly, you may need to write 2-5 posts first. But after all content is all good, so you are not "wasting" any time trying the method out.

If you are creative, you get ideas quickly this is for you! Give it a go!

Either case, adding content is something you should do to your website, so next time try adding something different... instead of an article or a tutorial write something INTERESTING and CONTROVERSIAL.

Finally submit that same article on social sites like Digg.com

How To Turn A Rss Feed Into Backlinks

How To Turn A Rss Feed Into Backlinks

What is an rss field?

Blogs most often use rss fields because they get updated regularly. OutRankSmart (ORS) blog rss field is: http://www.outranksmart.com/blog/atom.xml

An rss field (click the link above to see) contains usually the blog posts titles and a small part of the actual blog post...

A list of the blog's blog posts... and whenever new blog posts are added the list is automatically updated. So if you bookmark that rss field and I add new blog posts you get to see them on that page as well.

But Karl, is it useful to get backlinks?

Of course, there are Rss directories where you can submit your rss feed. And they list your rss feed into their directory. This in turn displays in their directory your recent blog posts, and gets automatically updated.

That gives you one way links from rss directories!

There are plenty of rss directories and basically to get backlinks that is the most common method to use.

Rss Field Submitter is the software I recommend you use to submit the rss field to rss directories. There is a free trial, (but it only submits to a handful of directories).

Allow also your blog visitors to bookmark your rss field. This will give you links possible from social sites like delicious.com

So YES! you can turn your rss field into backlinks.

There are other places where you can submit your RSS field to get the backlinks. (Pretty much any website that asks you for your rss field).

Here is a small list:

Submitting to Google and Yahoo does not really mean you get one way links. These may be blocking the certain pages using robots.txt

But I still submit to them.

#1: iGoogle (get a free account at www.google.com/ig and login. Then click on Add stuff, then click on Add feed or gadget).

#2: Yahoo (Go to My.yahoo.com and click login, and click on Sign up if you do not have a free account. Then login and click on Add content, then click on Add RSS feed).

#3: Squidoo (Go to www.squidoo.com and click on Join the community, then login. Click on My lenses and then click on Create a lens now! Follow step by step instructions until it is created. Then go to Dashboard, click on My Lenses and click on the lens name. Then on the right side click on Edit this page.

Search for the option called: RSS: Add Your Own Feed: and click Edit.

#4: Orkut (Use the same Google account you have with iGoogle and login at www.orkut.com On the left menu under the heading Apps click on Edit applications. If there is a tab called My feeds click on it to submit your feed. If you do not see it, click on Add More Apps and use the search box to search for the feed application)

Not very long ago I create a new blog post which contains more ways to get one way links from these type of sites... more sites. It's called:
High page rank one way links for you!

So remember next time you are going to signup anywhere (could be a forum, a social site, etc) look out for the option to submit your rss feed.

Even when filling up profile pages (of forums, social sites, practically anywhere), if it asks you for your website url, make sure you put it down. Some profile pages get indexed and you do get the backlink!

Take for example Squidoo. You can edit your profile and you can fill in your:

*blog
*twitter page
*facebook page

I do all that because it helps to index my twitter profile page and facebook profile page - In those profile pages I have submitted my website url as well, so getting the profile page indexed is worth it.

Check out my Linkedin profile page for example.
http://www.linkedin.com/in/karlsultana

I added my website there as well. Then linked to my linkedin profile page from one blog I have. So the profile page gets indexed and I get the backlink.

So watch out as well when creating profiles for the option to submit your website, blog or rss field.

-------------------
-------------------
Hi,

This is Karl Sultana.

In this video I am going to show you how I use OutRankSmart to make link exchanges. For demonstration purposes I am going to make 10 link exchanges, so you can see how fast and easy it is.

First I am going to select one of the methods to find link exchanges. I choose Method 1 and click NEXT.

In tutorial videos I go into detail why there are 5 methods and why it's just a feature to make things easier.

Then I enter a search term, one word only like golf

Next I click the Adult filter option and click NEXT.

Now search results are loading, I am going to hit pause since I am going to do just ten link exchanges.

First thing I do is Click on Edit Settings and fill in the fields here. Then click OK.

Next I click on Load sites, and the first ten sites automatically load in the browser.

What I do now is find the submission form of these sites. I do this very fast because it is just one click away most often. The forms get autofilled automatically. Next I start the submission process.

Starting from first site I pick up a suitable category for my site. Then I use the information on this page to link back. Linking back is a must do when doing link exchanges.

I have AutoLinksPro script here which I paid for, or you can use OutRankSmart to link back. In tutorials I show you how to do that too, but I have a script so I am going to use that for this demonstration.

Here I am going to add the site information and the script automatically puts a link to the first site on my link directory.

I just copy the category url where I placed their link and go back to OutRankSmart software. I paste the url in the reciprocal link field.

That's it.

Now I do same thing for all the other sites...

Watch and see how fast I do it and how fast you can and will do it too.

That's it, I just made ten link exchanges.

It just shows that finding link exchange partners is easy and making link exchanges is easy too. This software does much more than that though so go to www.outranksmart.com and signup to get notified once I release the software, which is very soon. You get it at a special price if you signup.

Thanks for watching this video.

OutRankSmart Software And Bonus Ebook Updated

OutRankSmart seo software will be upgraded once again soon. If you subscribe you get a special offer of course.

Go here now >>
http://www.outranksmart.com

1) Linkspages creation will be faster and easier. The software creates linkspages for ten websites that are loaded in the browser at once... apart from those that you mark as Ignore this site.

2) If some sites do not load because they have errors it's very easy to ignore them and avoid putting them on the linkspage. Just select a new option on the browser called: Ignore this site. That site will not be added on the linkspages.

3) You can also put the linkspages on a template to match it with the rest of your website design.

4) The sites marked as Ignore this site will also be marked as Not submitted in the search results screen. So you know that you did not submit to those site - later you can retry submitting to those - just by double clicking on the domain - it will load in a new browser tab.

5) Category selection for the websites to put on the linkspages is easier and faster.

6) You can double click a website in the search result screen and it loads in a new browser tab. So the browser is like Mozilla Firefox now, with the ability to open multiple tabs and close them.

The bonus ebook you get with OutRankSmart has also been updated. I added new tools I use to submit to article directories and more... Even new chapters I thought they are important. The ebook really shows you what to do to get high rankings.

No theories, no long lessons and learning about why this or why that - just what you NEED to KNOW is placed down. What I thought you do not really need to know about I excluded from the ebook.

Those other things you can read on the blog or in the other seo articles on my site.

The ebook will show you everything about seo... and the software will make things easier - they work hand in hand. You know I stress the importance of getting links. It's like it is the single thing you should do. In fact that's what you should be doing most... once you have done keyword research.

Obviuosly first thing is keyword research - because if you do not know what keywords you are going to optimize your website for - you cannot optimize it at all!

Keywords are important because you have to use them when getting backlinks - in the anchor text of the links.

So OutRankSmart and the bonus ebook go hand in had and both are going to be updated very soon.

Getting backlinks from forums

Hi,

This is Karl Sultana.

Here is something I do regularly, everyday when I am optimizing my website. I visit a forum, The Warrior Forum, in the subcategory: Warrior Reciprocal Links - Buy - Sell - Swap!

Exactly here:
http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-reciprocal-links-buy-sell-swap/

There are numerous opportunities to get links. Most members of the forum (you need to join for free to post) ask for link exchanges... but others give special offers, directory submissions, squidoo lens swapping - anything.

There is new posts everyday, that is why I check daily.

I always get some links - 1,2,3 or more everyday.

You can also post a new thread, asking all members to exchange links with your website.

Become a Warrior Forum member, and start checking out the section to exchange links and get backlinks.

You obviously can search other forums as well on Google. There are plenty others like sitepoint.com/forums where members trade links with each other.

Remember exchanging links is one of the best ways to get backlinks. Make sure you exchange links with websites who have ANY pagerank number and in ANY niche.

Create a link directory with categories and subcategories, the main ones just like I do with OutRankSmart site.

You can see the link directory here: http://www.outranksmart.com/links/resources.html

Feel free to submit your website as well.

Sidenote: You can do much more on forums then just exchanging links. Recently I became an author of one heck of a great Internet marketing site: Internet Marketer Symposium

I am submitting my articles, it is a win win situation for me and the blogger. He gets free content and I get a backlinks.

If you use a software such as OutRankSmart you will practically find an unlimited number of link exchange partners.

The software also creates the link directory, You get two templates to input in the software so it will then automatically create categories and subcategories for your directory.

Then you can find very fast websites, and it automatically fills in submission forms - and practically makes all the *work* for you.

Watch out, I am going to create a video to show you how powerful the software is... to get tons of backlinks easily.

Here are some seo terms explained:

Term #1: Link exchanges: a link exchange is when a webmaster lets call him, Jack asks another webmasters lets call him Paul. He asks him to exchange links. It means Paul will put a link to Jack's website (usually on his link directory) and Jack will do the same. He will put a link to Paul's website on his own link direcotry.

That is why it is called a link exchange. It is an exchange of links.

Term #2: Link exchange partner: in the above example both Jack and Paul are link exchange partners. A link exchange partner is someone who is doing a link exchange.

Term #3: One way links: A one way link is a link you get from directories, article directories - the places where you do not need to link back. You just submit your site and that's it.

When doing link exchanges, you submit your site but also have to link back.

So that's why it is called one way links. One way - you only get a link - receive without giving.

Term #4: Backlink: Any link you get is called a backlink. One way links, link exchanges or any other way to get a link - that link you get is called a backlink.

Term #5: Reciprocal link: When you do a link exchange, the link you get from your link exchange partner is called a reciprocal link (or a backlink as well)

When doing link exchanges the links you get are called reciprocal links.

That's all for now, I have to go and submit some more articles... :)

OutRankSmart more features

Hi,

You will see more features in the create linkspages section... making it easier. Plus you will get two templates for categories and subcategories. These you just put in the edit categories box once... I will create series of videos too to show you:

Video #1) Everything about basics seo, in case you do not know what link exchanges are, one way links, why link back, how to link back and so forth.

Video #2) Tutorial about software, step by step how to use it... not just what the features are but exactly how to make best use of it.

Video #3) Specifics about linkspages because some people do not know why you need to link back to websites, what is a reciprocal link and where to upload files.

Video #4) Tips. Full video with tips, these will be helpful for the long term, you will get more backlinks and generally I say great video to watch. A helpful hand!

Plus I am going to add a new feature for those who already have a linkspage. If you already exchanged links before this feature makes sure in the OutRankSmart software you will not find websites you already exchanged links with.

It will basically spider your link directories to extract link partners and then makes sure those partners are not listed again in the software.

I am working on OutRankSmart, it will be great helpful software to get tons of one way links and reciprocal links. You can obviosuly signup for the pre launch special offer - the offer is already ON! Once you signup for free you will get "something" not just waiting!

Go to http://www.outranksmart.com
For a piece of the pie. :)

OutRankSmart upgraded!

Hi,

If you are already a customer you got the upgrade for free, including future upgrades.

Upgrade features:

#1: New skin, from golden color to gray color. See screenshots of OutRankSmart by clicking here.

#2: Ability to create linkspages. Means those sites that need a link back, the software has a feature to automatically create the link back of each website. Other scripts you can use to create the link backs cost money - like AutoLinksPro

Or you do it manually and it will be time consuming.

So this is a really cool feature.

#3 There is pagerank information listed for every website.

#4 What keywords you already used to search for websites, and what search engine you already chose (and other things) - are all displayed in columns. So you keep track of what keywords you chose already, etc.

#5 Browsers now can be maximized so you can easily submit the forms.

#6 The forms are automatically filled without clicking any buttons. You simple navigate to the page where there is the submission form. It will be automatically filled.

#7 Progress column allows you to keep track of which websites you already submitted to. If some website for some reason does not load, you can mark it as "not submitted" and try again later.

There are more features...

Thanks!

Question from reader... On SEO, Traffic And Backlinks!

1st Question: What exactly are backlinks??

My reply: I keep it short and straight to the point.

In order for your website to get to the top of the search engines, you need to get backlinks. A backlink is a link to your website from some other website.

In other words: If someone puts a link to your website from his website you have a backlink.

2nd Question: Thanks for your reply. Perhaps I can ask you another question...........I have a website: www.johnlavin.ca which I have paid someone to optimize for the past 3-4 years.

Last year I began to see favourable results (I did 10 real estate transactions off it) however this year I have had zero from it.

I think the fellow doing the optimizing has too many real estate agents on his books, would that make a difference?

My Answer to 2nd Question: 3-4 years of optimization is a lot of time. You can see results within 6 months or less, assuming you did not optimize for the keyword real estate.

May I know the keywords he optimized your website for? That way I can tell you how long it should take you to see results.

I did not understand what you said: "I think the fellow doing the optimizing has too many real estate agents on his books, would that make a difference?"

When you hire someone to do the optimization, you should get a report telling you what keyword he optimized your site for. That way you can check rankings and see if indeed he really is doing a good job or not. Having a bit of knowledge about seo will help you judge the performance of the person you hire.

So if you provide the keywords he optimized your site for, I will be able to check out any progress and many other things.

Reply to My Answer of 2nd Question: Thanks for your reply. The keywords he has optimized are as follows:

house for sale in Mississauga Ontario
listed home for sale in Mississauga
Mississauga real estate agent
Mississauga townhouse
Mississauga townhouse condo
new home Mississauga
new house in Mississauga
new Mississauga condo
resale home Mississauga

He does give me a report each month which does show I'm getting traffic. In the first year I did a couple of transactions from it and that increased in the second to 4-5, last year I did 10 transactions and I had planned to increase that this year but so far have had none at all from the site.

As far as my question: "I think the fellow doing the optimizing has too many real estate agents on his books, would that make a difference?" . He handles quite a number of real estate agents and we are all competing in the same market, he does not optimize the same keywords for all of us, so I'm guessing that the popularity of keywords changes over time, but if another of my competitors has a popular phrase wrapped up I cannot use it.

I hope that is not a confusing answer. There is so much information on SEO out there it is hard to know which is real information and which is nonsense.

My reply back: So you need to know if traffic is decreasing, increasing or approximately the same month after month. You can check through your webhost stats, if they have cpanel. Contact them to find out that.

The problem here is no sales this year compared to previous years. So either traffic decreased or else you changed something on your website and conversion decreased. Maybe you changed homepage web copy...

To understand if the one you hired is doing a good job or no, just keep record of the keywords he has to optimize your site for. And keep record of where you rank for each keyword. Then check next month, see if rankings improved, dropped or are the same.

In cpanel once again, checking out traffic stats of previous years compared to this year. That may show traffic decreased, i.e the reason sales decreased.

One thing about keywords I suggest. Check cpanel to see which one keyword is giving you the most traffic from Google. Then see where you rank for that keyword. If you are not #1 in Google for that, tell the one you hired for seo, to optimize your site for that - to put it #1. It's better than trying to rank for a lot of keywords.

Just rank the one which is the best keyword, the one which already is giving you the most traffic. Since keep in mind the first three positions in the search engine get almost all the traffic. For one of my sites, I have a ton of keywords, but my sales comes almost all from the ONE keyword that is #1. The others that are #5, #9 etc, do still provide some traffic and some sales every now and then. But the one at #1 position makes the difference.

I would also keep improving my website, maybe next bit is hiring a copywriter for better conversion.

His reply back: Thanks for your informative reply. I have checked with my web people and they do not have cpanel. Is there another way I can check this?

My reply back: You can join Google Analytics for both traffic stats and keyword stats.

How To Automatically Write And Submit Articles

Just had a "hot" conversion with a friend of mine about writing articles to get backlinks.

The biggest challenge is NOT how to submit articles but how to put your fingers on the keyword and start writing an article

I found a solution.

It's FREE...

It's easy, just fill in the blanks...

It's called, 8 Minute Article Writer.

If you do not want to hire a profession writer. If you do not like writing articles. Either way this is for YOU.

8 Minute Article Writer is a software and it will really take you less than 8 minutes to write an article.

You fill in the blanks and click on a button and it loads an article for you - complete with article title, summary, bio and READY to be submitted to article directories.

You probably already know that submitting articles is ONE of the best methods to get backlinks. If you write one article a day and submit it I truly believe you will see an increase in your rankings quickly.

Just one article a day. You can submit your articles using Content Crooner. They have the biggest list of article directories, your articles will be submitted to over a thousand unique websites.

Their unique service allows you to submit as many articles as you want just by filling ONE submission form only. Can it get better?

I think the answer is a big NO!

I see webmasters using article submission software, manually doing all the submission or spending a ton of time waiting for the software to complete the submission.

That's the old way...

Grab a cup of coffee, use 8 Minute Article Writer to create an article, then go to Content Crooner and fill in one submission form. Sit back and enjoy...
That's how I do it, and how it should be done.

How To Solve All Your Article Submission Problems

"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes

Note: I suggest you consider this message as very important. It's from my experience and something I believe can help you if you are currently doing article submission.

Over the years I tried several methods to submit articles. Actually several software, from free ones to paid ones. I was stuck with Instant Article Submitter. It is really good and I still recommend it till this day.

I am always looking for ways to automate things I do, so software was the best thing for me. However recently I tried yet another thing.

Content Crooner service blew me away!

When it comes to article submission their service is what I just started using. Not only that, but even article writing. They also offer article writing service, since I write articles mainly to get one way links from the article submission sites. If I wanted traffic or to appear as an expert in my niche I would have probably wrote my own articles.

But I need a lot of articles, in fact I receive a new article a day. I submit an article a day through Content Crooner service.

You have complete rights on the articles they write for you. You can edit them, or even turn them into a special report (ebook) or put your name as the author of the articles.

Now the benefits of their service:

1) Fill in one form and you are done. Semi automatic software will leave you for hours standing in front of your computer manually submitting... they just autofill the forms. Fully automatic software do the job pretty neat too, but you still have to wait for it to finish, which can take hours...

Content Crooner is so fast, so neat - just ONE submission form is all you have to fill in.

2) Their list of article directories where they submit your article is the largest I ever seen - and for a reason. They keep adding new directories to their list. It's huge - thousands of directories. Instant article submitter submits to around 300... while semi automatic software most of them do not submit to more than 300!

Plus if you submitted articles last year and this year they added new directories, they will also submit your old articles to the new directories.

With article submission software, you just get an upgrade so you download the new directories.

You can pay $49.95 every 3 months, some $200 per year or choose the lifetime membership for $400 one time fee. To get articles written as well there are other charges.

But as you can see the value you get is pretty high.

Just test drive their free service to test customer support, get used to your membership area and so on. Then upgrade and forget about article submission - just write an article (or tell them to write for you) and simple use ONE dead easy form to submit it to their list of thousands directories.
