Link Exchange Requests Via Email – Super Tips!

Hi,

If you do link exchanges by emailing webmasters these super tips will increase the responses to your emails… result is more links!

Many times you send emails and not receive a reply. I shall reveal the right way to approach a webmaster, what to say in the email and everything else to start getting responses and a lot of them!

It’s easy to just compose an email and hit the send button – but to get a reply you need to do a little more than that.

What you should include in the email?

First of all keep it short and sweet, there’s no need to explain the benefits and all that – it’s boring and you should anyway always ask for a link exchange to someone who is already actively doing it – (check his website, if he has a link exchange directory he is active).

If he is doing link exchanges there’s no need to explain to him what it is, the benefits and all that. Don’t waste his time.

Second always include the link information. This is the Title of your website (which should be a keyword), Description and Url. So in email tell him, look to link to me use this information.

Title of site: dog food
Description: We sell all kinds of pet products including for dogs…
URL: http://www.yourdomain.com

Third always include the html code, not just the link information but the actual code so they just copy & paste it – you make their life easy.

Huge tip:

There are TWO ways to write an email, like I said short and sweet is best. You can use both and test to see which one gets you better results (the one which gets you most replies).

First is to actually link to the website and then in email you can tell him, look I’ve already linked to you… now link back to me please… This approach is something great because they obviously know you’re done something for them already.

However the downside is that you have to spend more time with that. Means you have to remove the links of those that do no reply, and add them too in the first place.

Second way which I highly recommend is to ask them if they are interested for a link exchange. Then tell them look if you are interested just reply and I’ll link back to you first. Then add also of course your link information and html code. Tell them here’s my html code and linking information.

This second method will save you more time, you only link to them if they are interested. The approach is still great, because you actually are asking them a question and you look interested and personal. It’s also short and sweet they read it in a flash and just hit reply and tell you YES or Ok, let’s do it – it’s great for them.

The worst link exchange emails are those that are long and those that are unfriendly saying something like:

Link to me first please.
Or
I will link to you first but if I don’t receive a reply back from you within two days I remove your link.

Those are not very friendly. So use the second method, probably it’s more simple than you currently do it.

Thanks
