Meta tags should only contain the keywords you are targeting, that means 2-3 only not a million or you can get penalty because of something known as keyword stuffing.
You sell different products on your website like for example weight loss and skin care products. Now if you get visitors to your homepage that are looking for skin care products they will see the weight loss products. That is what you have on your homepage.
SO I suggest you focus on ONE thing, that is selling what you have on your homepage only. That is weight loss products or pills… Why?
Because you want targeted traffic. These people will be looking for pills, they end up on your homepage filled with what they want so they buy. Easy, one click and they buy…
Then once you learn a bit more about seo, you can also get your other pages of your website ranked for other specific keywords. For example the skin care page you get it ranked for a keyword like skin care products.

Type in weight loss pills and you see a ton of keywords!
You are new to seo, so I suggest you pick up only 2 or even 1 only that have little competition which means less than million.
For example:
natural weight loss pills competition only 267,000 and it gets 58 visitors a day. Think about that, you will get 58 visitors looking for pills you have on your homepage.
If you want my advice, pick that keyword. Start getting a ton of backlinks and use that keyword in the anchor text. If you need more help in that let me know.
Once you get it on top, you become good… and you can target any other keyword. But as a start take it easy to learn.
I have to stop bitching now But seriously, when you get the traffic you can then provide your customers a bit better service. Like what the bottles of pills contain? Why should they trust that the bottles are safe? Try to answer all their questions, to overcome their objectives so they buy. But like I said, I am good for traffic not so converting visitors into buyers.

You can do article submission, I use http://www.instantarticlesubmitter.com everyday. It is a fully automatic software. You may have realized I like things done automatically!
Forum posting, you can join forums related to your niche or even unrelated and post in them, putting a link in your signature. The idea here is to get backlinks from different forums… means join new forums all the time.
Those are the top three methods, that I personally used and use right now. My software in fact is working in background at this moment, I am enjoying the sunny weather in Malta
The idea with backlinks is to get some everyday, as many as you can. But regularly and steadily.
So to recap the new bible:
1) Keyword research, I suggested natural weight loss pills
2) Focus on that keyword only.
3) Get backlinks using that keyword in the anchor text.
Quite simple. There is no theory, just go and get the backlinks, you will start seeing rankings in MSN, then slowly in Yahoo and finally in Google. This takes 1-2 months depends on how many backlinks you get and how fast you get them.
Remember you can then outsource forum posting.
